  We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Shamrock Routes during our visit to Ireland for a friend’s 50th birthday celebration. From start to finish, Ambrose made the trip feel seamless, special, and incredibly memorable. He showed us so many of Ireland’s best sights and hidden gems, and his knowledge, professionalism, and warmth made every outing enjoyable. What really stood out was his flexibility with our schedule. Traveling as a group for a milestone celebration can be hectic, but Ambrose was always accommodating, patient, and focused on making sure we had the best possible experience.   We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my 50th birthday with a trip to Ireland, and I can honestly say it was the trip of a lifetime—thanks in no small part to our incredible guide, Ambrose, from Shamrock Routes. From start to finish, Ambrose was everything you could hope for in a guide and more. He was thoughtful and attentive, always making sure everyone in our group felt comfortable and included. His creativity brought each day to life, whether it was through unique stops, local insights, or little surprises along the way that made the experience feel truly special. What stood out most was his deep knowledge of Ireland—its history, culture, and hidden gems—which he shared in such an engaging and memorable way.   Ambrose made planning our trip a breeze. He had helpful suggestions and also listened to what we wanted from the trip. Our driver Martin was amazing.   Ambrose was an amazing tour guide he was so professional and has so much knowledge he made our Christmas, Ambrose collected us from our house brought us to our hotel, then collected us from our hotel brought us to a santa experience, back to our hotel then collected us the next morning for an amazing tour around wicklow we seen some amazing views and waterfalls and the guineas estate, both my boys really enjoyed the knowledge Ambrose had to share with us, we finished off our tour with an amazing meal with top quality food, thank you so much Ambrose really appreciate it, you made our Christmas.

  What an amazing experience we had with Shamrock routes,from start to finish was fantastic,Ambrose is a gentleman who couldn't do enough for myself, lorna and the boys,he brought us to the Westcourt hotel and National stud farm to see Santa,it was brilliant and the next day brought us to see the sights in Wicklow,some amazing landmarks, we all had such a wonderful time,would highly recommend,thank you Ambrose for a truly wonderful time!!

  Did a private tour of Southwest Ireland with Ambrose and it was everything and more we could have hoped for. His knowledge, thoughtfulness, and lovely personality added so much to our experience. We would highly recommend him and his company and, should we come back to see more of that part of the world, we will definitely be asking for Ambrose’s help in making the most of the trip.

  As always, we had a great time in Ireland. It was our fourth trip. Shamrock Routes does a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them to anyone traveling Ireland. Most people think they can do it cheaper by themselves. But I disagree. Ambrose McKay done a wonderful job once again and facilitating our trip.   It was the best overseas experience you could ask for. No hassle, stressfree, relaxing and so much fun! I researched everything, sent all my "wants" and "likes" to Ambrose and he took care of everything. It's so much better and easier than booking everything yourself and worrying about renting a car, navigating and getting to anywhere on time.   My husband and I visited Ireland last fall. We had chosen an itinerary ourselves and decided to have a driver. We weren’t keen on driving in another country and we wanted to enjoy the sights and scenes without nerve wracking directions and traffic. This was our first experience with a driver and it couldn’t have gone better! Ambrose went over and above in what we expected. We felt safe, we certainly saw way more and enjoyed our trip very much in part due to Ambrose’s expertise and driving skill. We plan on visiting Scotland next fall and will definitely avail of his services.
