I recently had the pleasure of taking a private tour of Ephesus with Fatima while our cruise ship was in port, and it was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip to Turkey. Fatima is an absolutely outstanding guide – friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and archaeology of Ephesus. She brought the ancient city to life with fascinating stories and insights that you simply wouldn’t get from a guidebook or a large group tour. She was also exceptionally kind and helpful throughout the day, always making sure everyone was comfortable, hydrated, and enjoying themselves. What made the tour even better was Fatima’s flexibility. She tailored the itinerary perfectly to our interests and took us to every site we wanted to see, including some lesser-known spots that added so much depth to the experience. Despite the limited time in port, she maximized every minute without ever making us feel rushed. To top it all off, she brought us to a wonderful local restaurant where we enjoyed an authentic and delicious meal of traditional Turkish cuisine. It was the perfect way to end the day. If you’re visiting Ephesus (or anywhere in the region), do yourself a favor and book a private tour with Fatima. She’s truly one of the best guides we’ve ever had, and we can’t recommend her highly enough!
