Al ‘Āmrāt or Al Amirat is a city in Muscat, in northeastern Oman. Al Amarat is the fifth most populated province in the Muscat Governorate after Muscat itself, As Seeb, Bawshar and Muttrah. Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque

Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque (Photo Stop Only) is a marble-clad marvel located off the Southern Expressway, at a height of 62.5 meters above sea level in Oman. Construction of the mosque commenced in the year 2008 and was completed in 2014. The construction activity brought together designers, materials, technologies, artists and suppliers from Iran, Italy, Germany, Austria, India and the UK. It rests on an area of 20,300 sq. m. The main Prayer Hall is 1616 sq. m. and can accommodate 2,100 people. The Chandeliers – Main Prayer Hall is 11-metre tall and the Ladies Prayer Hall is 4.5 meter tall, are finished with 24-karat gold plating and Swarovski crystals. (Photo Stop Only)

We had a great time on this private tour. Jihad was an amazing tour guide. He was very engaging and informative, not only about the sites but the culture as well. I would definitely recommend the tour and Jihad as a guide.

We made a private 4 hour tour of Muscat in the evening. Our guide Jihad was very friendly and attentive. He gave us a lot of information about the sights and life of the Omanis. We were very impressed by his competent nature and would book this tour again. We also found the joint visit to a local fish restaurant nice at the end. Thanks again to Jihad for this experience.
Muscat a must see.

Our guide Jihad was knowledgeable, personable, and keen to show us the delights of Muscat. We particularly enjoyed our time shopping for fragrances and sampling the sweets in the souk.

SAIF AL-MAYYAHI was a lovely person, he greeted us with a warm smile. He was on time with his pickup. He was enthusiastic and had a warm smile. He told us a lot about the culture & religious aspect with a detail in history about Muscat. Because it was our first time in Muscat we requested him that we would like to buy Spices, Saffron, Frankincense & other items, he helped us get the best deals & took us to the best places to buy them. He communicated with us & saw that we were comfortable throughout. He even helped me in buying the traditional Abaya & even communicated with the shopkeeper… He showed us spectacular views & took us to taste the famous tea which he very kindly paid for. He was respectful & hardworking. I would definitely recommend such a honest person who was genuine. It is a blessing to have such a person in your team.
SAIF was the best! Must do this in Muscat!

SAIF was a great tour guide with lots of knowledge. He drove us around in a nice spacious Toyota SUV. He stopped at many places for us to take pictures and learn about the history. It was around 100 degrees F during the day so SAIF suggested we start in the evening as the sun is setting. I’m glad we did because it was much more pleasant without the hot sun ! Also, at night, we were able to take photos of the mosques with the lights which was breathtaking. We stopped by the forts and walked through the Mutrah Souq to experience locals shopping for gold and other items. We ended with a photo stop at the Opera house and SAIF took us to a local tea shop for a local treat. We had a great time and we hope to come back with more friends and explore Oman for about a week as we were only here for two days.

My guide’s name was Said Al Kiyumi and he was amazing! I was only in Oman for two days for business and had an afternoon to explore. I did the evening tour and it went beyond expectations. Said is so intelligent and gave me a wonderful overview of Oman and Omani culture. I highly recommend this tour—request Said Al Kiyumi! You won’t be disappointed!
