An excellent introduction to Doha – Qatar, this trip combines fabulous scenery with plenty of fascinating views, historic sites and highlights of the rich culture.

Discover The Pearl Qatar, an extraordinary artificial residential and business island created in a shape of an oyster which has set the standard for luxury. We will take you to Katara, the stunning cultural village in a beautiful beachfront at the heart of Doha with an amphitheater, an opera, art galleries and restaurants from various countries and cultures.

You are welcome to be at the Equestrian Club which gives home to the royal race horses & international priceless horses. We will proceed to the famous Museum of Islamic Arts, the iconic museum, designed by I.M. Pei that hosts pieces covering over a thousand years of Islamic Arts. Conclude at Souq Waqif, the authentic traditional market with its fascinating maze of alleyways filled with cafes, restaurants and hundreds of tiny shops.

We had an excellent tour of Doha with Siham as our guide. He provided a great overview of the city’s most important sites, from the modern beauty of Pearl Island to the vibrant atmosphere of Souq Waqif. Including, the falcons and dress of the Qatari. Along the way, he shared fascinating insights into Qatar’s history, culture, and traditions. His knowledge and storytelling made the experience both informative and enjoyable. We now have a much deeper appreciation for Doha and would highly recommend a tour with Siham to anyone visiting the city.

I made a 2-day stop over in Qatar and stayed at the Cigale Hotel that indicated me to QIT. They were extremely attentive and efficient in the communication and guidance for the tours he desired. Escolhi um city tour de meio dia e um Safari de dia inteiro. I had a private tour with Erik as a guide. Despite little time and many places to visit was excellent. I recommend! The best point is the Museum of Islamic Art which gives a panorama of Islamic art in a historical perspective by the main fathers of the Muslim world. The museum has very impressive wonderful pieces. Minimum time: 2 hours! It has a good restaurant and the store has good options. Ask for Erik. Very patient, polite and prepared!

The best city tour I have ever been to. Mr Haithem was so friendly and welcoming . Throughout the tour he educated us about the history of the beautiful city of Doha and cultural heritage of Qatar. It was so informative and we had so much fun !

On a short break in Doha to catch a little winter sun, we knew we had to have a look at Doha itself. It is a well worn itinerary, Katara Culural Village, the amazing Pearl Island and Souk Waqif. Our guide, Siham, was entertaining, knowledgable, fun to be with and spoke excellent English. We heard not just the stories of the development of Qatar and the extraordinary technology employed in the building of the newest parts of Doha but much of the history of the state. In the souk we had time too to learn about the history of falconry in Qatar and looked into the Falcon Hospital and the immense care available to these most valuable birds. Healthcare for humans is also absolutely first rate! We loved the tour, learned a lot about Doha and would certainly recommend you do the same if ever in Doha. Thank you, Siham.
