During our food walk you will get to taste the treats which Athenians enjoy as part of their daily life, as well as gain insights into the development of our cooking methods, our recipes and culinary traditions. Indulge in mouth-watering sweet and savory delicacies, enough to replace lunch. What an amazing tour with George! We met at Syntagma Square to begin our tour. It was 9 AM and, to be honest, we were tired and not really up for it. However, after a few minutes with George sharing interesting information about Athens and foods which are authentic to Greece, we forgot all about being tired. We sampled so many delicious foods and saw the market where locals buy meat and fish, and even got some great tips for cooking since George is a former chef. We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour. Would not change a thing about it!

Arlo was our guide! He was amazing, he took Y husband and I to about 6 different restaurants to experience the local food at its best. We also toured the local food bazaar- seafood, meat, vegetables etc… we felt he was very knowledgeable

Our Athens food tour with Jason has been a highlight of our 2 weeks in Greece so far. We went to many different local spots and restaurants and tasted souvlaki/gyros, baklava and the traditional orange cake, coffees, honeys, nuts and dried fruits, olive oils, bougatsa (savory pies), and delicacies such as smoked eggplant, fava dip, sardine dolmades, cured anchovies, loukmades, local wines and more! Jason was knowledgeable and personable and we enjoyed wandering the Plaka neighborhood and flea market with him on our tasting journey.

Thanks to our incredibly knowledgeable guide Stelios, we immersed ourselves in a series of culinary experiences, set throughout Athens as a backdrop, which proved to be absolutely delightful. This provided us with various opportunities to experience the city in the yummiest of ways! Learning not just about architecture, but about the people, their food and customs. Thanks team!

Having just done a group tour in Reykjavik that was excellent, I was prepared to be underwhelmed with this one but to my surprise, it was amazing! Mostly because our guide Era was wonderful. She was personable and very knowledgeable about the area and the food. She easily answered all of our questions and led us to several small, family-owned shops with different types of food. She also took us to the local market to see how most local folks got their groceries. We sampled lots of different food, learned about the various types of olive oil, and traveled down many beautiful small walkways among other things. As an added bonus her English was very clear and easy to understand. Just be ready to walk on cobblestones and climb steps.

Yiannis our guide was fabulous. Felt like we were walking with friend showing us his home town. Perfect mix of history, culture and of course food. Highly recommend. This was a flawless company to work with and I was very nervous as I planned the trip last minute. We were tow people, Tow to three is a good number for the tour. Lots of walking which for us was great. We worked off some of the delicious food.

Vicky took us (mom/18 yo daughter) on a walking food tasting tour of Athens. It was a great first introduction to Greece at the beginning of our 2 week trip. Some of the best food we had the entire trips was on the tour with Vicky. We combined our food tasting tour with a tour of the Acropolis and she knew a lot about history, mythology, and travel throughout Greece as well. Vicky provided us with a lot of tips that were helpful throughout the rest of our trip. Hanging out with Vicky in Athens was one of the highlights of our trip.

We took this tour on the morning of our second day, most of our first day was happily spent at the Acropolis hill and museum, so it helped us to get orientated in other areas of the city. Our friendly, knowledgeable guide was Yannis and he gave us a wonderful overview of the food culture of his city with great good humour and intelligence. In addition to the gastronomy, we appreciated Yannis helping us make sense of the different districts and with Greek culture, answering our questions about architecture, history and politics. We loved the flexibility of the tour - while ensuring we didn't miss out on any of the most recommended things to try, Yannis would also offer us choices to suit our tastes and interests. We were so happy to take the opportunity to try an off-the-beaten track restaurant that we would otherwise have not have come across. With this tour we immediately felt looked after and confident that we were taken to really authentic, trusted restaurants and food purveyors. The booking and payment process was really easy. All email correspondence regarding where to meet and answering my questions was also friendly and efficient. Thank you to Glykeria in the office, and a big thank you to Yannis for his kindness, great story telling, and an overall splendid tour that we would very much recommend.

I traveled to Athens with my two adult children and their friends. They had just arrived late morning from the US and I thought the food tour would be a great way to keep everyone awake and active. It was the perfect tour from start to finish. Panos was our guide and he really made the whole experience very special. His laid back nature and humor, along with his knowledge of the area and its food made for a very fun night for everyone. We experienced food we had never tried before and it was all delicious. Panos helped us order at each stop and the food did not disappoint. We ended the tour with a wine tasting and then a final gelato stop. Fantastic all around. We all agreed that the tour was a highlight of our time in Athens. Thank you Panos!!!

We splurged and booked a private flavors of Athens tour for our family, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece! It was lighthearted, fun, and delicious. The food was delicious, and the restaurants/eateries selected were charming, lively, and lovely. Our guide was a gem! She was outgoing, knowledgeable, and a ton of fun to be around. Everyone was happy to see her at each of our stops- they clearly know and love her! That made it all the more fun-- you felt a bit like you were stopping by friends' places. Make sure to work this tour into your schedule--- it's terrific!
