As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

5.00I walked around four stores, although it may vary from guide to guide. There was only one restaurant for meals, two for desserts and one for whisky tasting. You didn't have to be good at English. However, they ask me a few questions along the way, so if you don't understand English at all, it's hard. He explained the tourist attractions and recommended various shops, so I think I would have enjoyed it more if I knew English. Also, I wasn't sure where to meet him as it was written on the notice, but it was near the western entrance to St Giles Cathedral. Carlos, thank you for sending us a list of the shops you visited and what you ate after joining the tour.

5.00My sisters and I did this brilliant food tour with Carlos (or Martha!) and had a brilliant time! Good food and drink with a funny and knowledgeable guide. Carlos was very conscientious of allergies and made adjustments where possible. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

5.00We had a wonderful day, Nichola was our guide, she gave us amazing information with wonderful stories and history. I have a much better appreciation for the Scottish history and foods.

5.00This small group tour was well planned and the food was wonderful. Carlos was easy to talk to and ever engaging. Not only did we learn about Scottish cuisine, but we learned local history and gained better understanding of the opportunities in the Royal Mile.
Highly recommend this food tour!

5.00We absolutely loved this tour with Nyssa! She had so many interesting and fun facts to share about old town Edinburgh. On top of that the selections of various foods were fantastic! It was so fun to sample the traditional foods of Scotland. Nyssa’s knowledge of Scottish whiskey was so interesting too. She was great!

5.00Our tour guide was Carlos he was highly knowledgeable not only on the Food selections for the day but the historical culture of Edinburgh and indeed Scotland. He brought the tour to life with many factual stories. He was highly engaging which all the tour party appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble for him. A great day and highly recommended even though I'm English😂

5.00My wife and I had a wonderful time with Carlos. He has a great sense of humor and was knowledgeable about more than just the food. He shared history, recommendations, his experience, and so much more. The food we tasted was fantastic, the pace was perfect. We recommend!
