  I recently booked four tours with Qoshqeldin tour company in Kazakhstan, and my experience was outstanding. As a solo traveler, I found the personalized touch invaluable, with each tour uniquely tailored to my preferences. The tours included the city tour, Shymbulak excursion, Almarasan Gorge, and a two-day adventure to Kolsay Lake and Charyn Canyon, featuring a homestay with a local family. During the city tour, we visited Panfilov Park, and I appreciated the opportunity to stop at malls and grocery stores as needed. The private nature of these tours, combined with clean, newer vehicles, made for a comfortable journey, and I valued the flexibility in scheduling. My Shymbulak tour was pretty cool and I got to explore with the owner, Ali. We had lunch at a mountain resort and captured stunning photos in traditional Kazakh attire with a Berkut eagle. Ali was incredibly responsive via WhatsApp, always available to answer my questions and provide detailed itineraries that could be customized. For my other tours, I had the pleasure of traveling with Jangir, who was an exceptional guide. His English was excellent, and he was knowledgeable about the region's history and culture. Jangir made the long drives enjoyable with engaging conversations, music, and humor. He even assisted me in visiting a local doctor before our Kolsay Lake and Charyn Canyon tour, which I greatly appreciated. One highlight was my tour to the Green Bazaar, where I tried several local items, leaving with bags full of treats. We also visited a mosque, where I felt welcomed as an observer during prayers. Later, Jangir introduced me to a local noodle shop where I tried the langman dish—so delicious that I had it three more times! Our trip to Almarasan Gorge was another highlight, featuring a leisurely hike that allowed us to soak in the serene surroundings. I dressed in traditional Kazakh attire again for more photos with Berkut eagles. The overnight tour to Kolsay Lakes and Charyn Canyon, where I opted for a homestay, offered an authentic glimpse into local life. While the drive was longer, the views were stunning. In hindsight, I would choose a yurt stay for a more immersive experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour company for anyone looking to explore Kazakhstan. Their personalized service, knowledgeable guides, and flexibility in planning create unforgettable adventures. I look forward to more tours with this company in the future!

  I had full Kazakhstan trip for 5 days with Mr. Ali organised Guide Mr. Vadim. The experience with the arrangements made by Mr. Ali was excellent and reasonable prices. Mr. Vadim was our guide with good English speaking capabilities and his guidance and support during this 5 days was really appreciated. I recommend to approach Mr. Ali and Mr. Vadim for everyone who wants to experience Kazakhstan in safe and professional manner

  We visited Almaty in May 2025 for a special anniversary holiday, and I’m so glad we chose Ali and his company for our private tour. It all started with a simple WhatsApp conversation where I expressed interest in visiting Almaty’s stunning lakes and the breathtaking Charyn Canyon. Ali immediately suggested that instead of rushing through a typical day tour, we opt for a relaxed private experience – and that turned out to be the best advice! From the very beginning, coordination was seamless. Ali was incredibly responsive (famous for his quirky voice notes!), transparent about pricing and availability, and deeply committed to ensuring we had the best experience possible. What made this tour truly exceptional was Ali himself choosing to accompany us personally. He took us to Charyn Canyon and both Kolsai and Kaindy Lakes. At Charyn, Ali not only guided us through the 4 km canyon walk but also clicked amazing photos and even flew his drone to capture moments we’ll never forget. The drive through the mountains and valleys to Kolsai Lake was equally stunning, and Ali had arranged a truly unique property for our overnight stay – rustic, remote, and absolutely magical. Reaching it was an adventure in itself, but the reward was worth it. One standout moment was our visit to Kaindy Lake. It had started to rain, and we were unsure whether to proceed. Ali not only helped us negotiate better rates with local horse ride operators (language was a barrier for us) but also reassured us that the weather would likely clear up – and he was right. We went ahead and ended up with clear skies and a spectacular experience, even riding horses together through the forest. What stood out most throughout the trip was Ali’s personal touch. We spent 2-3 times more time at each location compared to a standard day tour – and that made all the difference. We never felt rushed, we always felt cared for, and we saw the region through the eyes of someone who loves it deeply. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Ali. His thoughtful planning, personal involvement, and local expertise made these two days in Almaty truly unforgettable.
