  We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The tour guide Alex was excellent! He was knowledgeable, friendly, speaks fluent English and very professional. Everything was well organized, and the level of service throughout the tour was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience, which really made a difference. We felt well looked after at all times and truly appreciated the attention to detail. Overall, it was an excellent tour with the best service, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and well-run experience.

  Food tour was amazing. Tour is fully gluten free upon request. Alex very careful about checking for all ingredients and avoiding risk of cross contamination. You will losve what you eat!

  My wife and I had a long layover in Hanoi on our way to Korea. Our flight from India landed in Hanoi in the morning at 5.20am and our connecting flight was only next day early morning at 1.20am. We had a full day to spend and we were eager to visit Hanoi since this was our first time there. I got Alex's contact through Trip Advisor reviews and got in touch with him about three weeks prior to the trip. We needed visas to visit Vietnam (single entry one day visa) and Alex helped me fill up the form especially the requirement for a local address. Visas came within three days and cost USD25 each. Alex required payment of USD 100 per person which I paid using a payment app about three days before the trip. We had also send Alex our flight itinerary. When we landed in Vietnam we were out in about 20 minutes and Alex had a driver waiting for us. The driver dropped us off at the old quarter in Hanoi and Alex joined us later for breakfast. His business partner Alexa joined us for breakfast as well. Subsequently Alexa took us on a tour of Hanoi - this tour was customized as per our needs. Alex and Alexa gave us choices and we picked what we wanted to do. Our first stopover was at Ho Chi Minh Palace and from there we went to Temple of Literature. We then had a vegan lunch at a restaurant in the old quarter - Alexa helped order as per our needs since hotel staff do not speak much English. The food was very good. After lunch we visited Hoa Lo Prison where Alexa personally explained its rather troubling history and then we look a ride through the old quarter. We wanted to see the famed Hanoi Train Street where the train goes very near to you and we enjoyed that experience. Subsequently we went to the newly built Lotte Mall and from there we went to the airport. All rides, breakfast, lunch, and entrance fees were paid for by Alex - we did not pay him anything extra. We thoroughly enjoyed Alex and Alexa's hospitality and their genuine warmth. We found that in general people in Hanoi are humble and kind. We did not have time to visit other parts of Vietnam but Alex has assured us that there are even better things to see outside Hanoi - we hope to visit Vietnam again and enjoy Alex's company again.   Great visit and time with Alexa during our Hanoi stay in Hanoi. She was very knowledgeable, kind and such a great host while visiting the city. Highly recommend Nom Nom for tours while in Vietnam. 5 stars all the way around!

  Alex was a great agency to work with and we were lucky to have him as our personal guide. I’d highly recommend Nom Nom! Really got to experience Vietnam while being there on a cruise.

  We booked a private tour through Marriott Activities, and soon after, Alex from Nomnom Travel contacted us to confirm our preferences. We were a party of four, including two 78-year-old parents. Alex did an excellent job ensuring we had a comfortable vehicle and that there were plenty of opportunities for my parents to sit and rest as needed. He also asked about our lunch preferences and selected the perfect spots for both lunch and coffee. Alex listened to our interest in Train Street and made special arrangements so we could experience it firsthand. Most importantly, we learned so much about Hanoi and Vietnamese culture from Alex, far more than we would have on our own. We left the tour with a deep appreciation for the rich history and resilience of the Vietnamese people. Thank you, Alex, for sharing your culture and country with us.   Alex is the best! We did two tours with him- the full day city tour + private food tour the evening before and we were truly blown away! He is so knowledgeable and tailored the itinerary to our requests while still showing us many things (prison museum, mausoleum, temples, more) that were “musts” when coming to hanoi to learn about the culture.   Alex were an outstanding travel planner, and a pioneer tour guide. I had a great experience overall. It was an ease of mind visiting vietnam with Alex's professional assistance. Just gave him the amount of time frame and what you like to do; He will tailor to your desire travellings. In my case I only had 7 days, and want a quick preview of whole vietnam. Alex planned flawlessly from the south to north, and even the central of vietnam. The whole vietnam were all covered with his resourceful and knowledgeable teams. Alex is very well network. The minute I landed vietnam, there's driver picking me up and drop off! At no time I have to deal with any form of transportation. At any given time, Alex and the team are there to answer any questions, and keep me up to date.   Alex is polite, personable and speaks English very well. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Hanoi and at all the places we visited he could easily answer any questions. Alex was flexible with our timetable and ensured we were able to visit the city sights that we were interested in. Highly recommend this tour.
