Nagarkot is a village located about 25 miles east of Kathmandu, Nepal. It is on the northeastern site of the Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of close to 2195 mt. above sea level. It is one of the most scenic spots in the region, renowned for its sunrise views of the Himalayas. You can see Mount Everest range with its snow-topped peaks, and there is an observation tower at the very top of the village’s hills. This early morning tour begins when your guide and drive meet you at your hotel and it concludes 4-hours later when they bring you back to your hotel.

5.00I did a few trips with Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition. Every time all was organised very well. All stuff are professional. I had all help I need from drivers and guides. Way to Nagarkot is not that difficult as Friendship road. Once I did that Friendship road with Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition. In spite of the fact that that road one of the most dangerous road in the world we were safe and quite fast. So when I needed to drive to Nagarkot I chose Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition. I knew that I havу nothing to worry about. My task was to enjoy great views. I adore sunrises. And for sure sunrises in the Himalaya is something. I may tell that I like Bhaktapur a lot. There is one of my favourite temple in the main square. I don't remember the name but I remember that I can't take my eyes of it. Atmosphere of Bhaktapur is totally different from what you have in Kathmandu. Actually I can't tell that i like Kathmandu and Tamel. Tamel is very touristy as for my liking. So if you want to see more real Nepal go with this tour with Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition.

5.00It was excellent experience with great and helpful guide Sujan and Gadesh as a driver!! We drove through alpine forest to a heights of Nagarkot. The day was nice and we were happy to have both sunset and sunrise. Sujan is perfect guide, he told us a lot about Nepal customs and traditions + he knew almost all mountains' names that we saw in front of us. The hotel was fine especially for many other hotels at the place are still in a quite poor conditions after 2015 earthquake Driver Gadesh is also nice person, very helpful and he's very safe driver what is more important on the mountain road. Many thanks to Dipendra Bhatta from Nepal Horizon Treks for this perfect and relaxing experience!!

5.00I've done the Nagarkot tour with Nepal horizon treks. It was incredible the views from there were breathtaking and the sunrise over the hymalaians is incredible experience. The hike is not very demanding and easily done. Everything went super well, Driver and guide were super professional, friendly and knew a lot about all the surrounds. I highly recommend them. Thanks a lot for all
