The first point of your tour of the Sacred Valley will be the ruins of Ollantaytambo, which is a perfect example of Inca architecture. Urubamba
After exploring the impressive archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, with its ancient terraces and breathtaking Inca architecture, we’ll continue our adventure toward the heart of the Sacred Valley — Urubamba. On the way, we’ll pass through stunning Andean scenery, picturesque farming communities, and fields of corn and quinoa that stretch along the Urubamba River. Upon arrival in Urubamba, we’ll have time to relax, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

5.00We had a wonderful day with Jose and Yoselin! We were staying in Ollantaytambo and had already seen the ruins, but Jose was very accommodating about making a few changes to our itinerary. We learned alot, saw some incredible things and had a lovely picnic lunch out in the countryside. Both guides were very patient answering all of our off topic questions. Would totally recommend this tour if you need to travel between Ollantaytambo and Cuzco.

5.00Such a great tour! Getting picked up in Urubamba and dropped off in Cusco made things so easy for me. The guide was super friendly and knew a lot about the area, and the stops along the Sacred Valley were just incredible. Everything was well-organized but still felt relaxed. Definitely recommend

5.00We did the Sacred Valley tour from Ollantaytambo to Cusco with Encounters Peru Adventure and it was an excellent experience. From the beginning the organization was clear and punctual. We visited amazing places like the fortress of Ollantaytambo, Moray, the Salineras de Maras and Chinchero, where we learned a lot about the Andean textile tradition. Our guide José was exceptional: very professional, attentive and with a great knowledge of Inca history and culture. Thanks to it, each site became even more valuable and we better understood the importance of the Sacred Valley. I totally recommend Encuentros Perú Adventure and the guide José for those who want to live a cultural and well organized experience in the Sacred Valley.

5.00Great day! We were picked up in Ollantaytambo and dropped off in Cusco and along the way we got to visit a lot of archaeological and cultural sites in the Sacred Valley. Our guide, Dario, was very knowledgeable (and accommodating!) and kind and our driver, Fernando, made us feel very safe on some truly gnarly mountain roads! Highly recommend!

5.00I recently took a private full-day tour of the Sacred Valley, and it was fantastic! The landscapes were breathtaking, and each stop offered a unique insight into Incan history. The guide was very friendly and shared lots of interesting information. I loved exploring the local markets and trying traditional foods. Overall, it was a memorable experience that I highly recommend!

5.00Stevin was our guide and he was amazing! He showed us the ruins of Ollantaytambo, Moray, the salt mines, and then took us to lunch. After, he took us to a place where a woman showed us how she makes clothing out of alpaca wool and then to the town of Chinchero. This was all in one day and has been the highlight of our Peruvian experience. He explained the history of every place we went to and was so kind. If anyone is visiting Peru, I would recommend getting Stevin as a guide!!

5.00Quite an insightful and an indepth tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas on the way back from Machu Picchu with Encuentros Peru Adventure. They recieved us from the train station and did the tour which was very informative and we never felt rushed or hurried. Jose Luis is a very informative tour guide with a true passion of sharing his knowledge on Inca mythology. Highly reccomend if you want to get an immersive tour off the beaten crowd.

5.00Quite a peculiar trip. We did this on our way back to Cusco after visiting Machu Picchu. Jose is such a wonderful guy who did everything to make this trip an experience of a lifetime. The tour included visits to the prime archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the guide gave an indepth explanation to the local traditions, history and culture. It was nice to hear from a local on their way of life and how locals have preserved the age old Inca traditions and customs. This was a oprivate tour, we never felt rushed or hurried. Jose spoke good English as well. Highly reccommend this after visiting Machu Picchu.
