will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, to enjoy amazing Day Trip To Alexandria From Cairo. First, visit Pompey's Pillar. It was constructed in honour of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivalling the Soma and the Caesarean. Then drive to visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch at local restaurant in Alexandria, then proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient pharaohs (lighthouse) of Alexandria then, to Bibliotheca Alexandria. Finally you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.

Visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shokafa.its a roman Cemetery dates back to 3th century and it was discovered accidentally by a donkey in 1900A.D. it consists of 3 Levels the third one is Completely under water. 5.00Our Alexandria day trip was really fun and well organized. We visited the fort on the Mediterranean Sea, the Library of Alexandria, and the catacombs — all fascinating stops. The food was great, and the commute was very comfortable in a private car. A lovely way to explore the city in a day.

5.00Our trip to Alexandria started early and we were able to see as much as we could. We visited all the important places. Hader was great! Sofy Egypt tours had everything planned out for us. The Alexandrian library was a unique experience and as a Greek I enjoyed it immensely!
The trip to alexandria and back was very interesting and very educational!

5.00The day stared early so we have time to see all monuments and especially the Alexandria’s library , and even because the distance was long we had even time to eat and stop for coffee! Amazing travel agency , I recommend it without a doubt!!! Thank you sofy!!

5.00Hader ir was our guide to Alexandria. Everything was perfect. She explained everything to us and she was always happy to help with any questions we had! From the catacombs to the Alexandria Library everything was very well organised and down to the last detail.

5.00An absolutely fantastic experience — the feeling it creates is truly beyond words. Everything was perfectly organized, and the whole team, including our driver and guide, were exceptional. Our guide HADER, was amazing, explaining everything clearly and answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience without any hesitation!

5.00Alexandria was a nice addition to our trip! Among other things we visited the catacombs which was the highlight of this trip! It is a 3hour drive from Cairo but our driver was really nice and we felt safe all the way although the busy roads. Thank you Sofy tours for the great planning and for taking care of the little detailed for us!
