The Wadi Shab is a huge canyon gorge that has its own paradise. Filled with palm trees and other greenery, the mountain truly has character. We leave Muscat in the morning and make our way to the wadi. We make a short stop at the Bamah sinkhole where most like to take photos or swim in the lake. We make our way through Fins Beach, a long white-sand beach photo stop, and then arrive at Wadi Shab.

We leave Muscat in the morning and make our way to the wadi. We make a short stop at the Bamah sinkhole where most like to take photos or swim in the lake. We make our way through Fins Beach, a long white-sand beach photo stop,
Wadi Shab
Through the Coast from Muscat to Quriyat and over the plateau Travel down and Reach Wadi Shab (Before you enter inside of wadi shab you need to ride in boat but you need to pay by yourself the 1 OMR/3 USD Per Person). Your will be taken for a breathtaking Visual Scenes "the most beautiful among Muscat tours scenes" , easy walk through the Wadi and you will have a picnic there. About 40 minutes walk through the canyon and green terraced gardens will bring you to a series of streams and pools. You will now have the opportunity to swim in crystal clear water and swim through a narrow keyhole, magnificent cave to Surface inside, which contains an inspiring waterfall. The cave is magnificent magical place. Stop at Fins Beach. Relax a while. Return to Muscat. (Kindly note that the wadi is strewn with rocks and pebbles which makes walking difficult. Advisable to wear sturdy walking shoes.)

5.00We loved the company. They communicate everything from beginning to end and as soon as a guide is assigned they let you know. I had direct access to my guide who introduced himself via message before the tour and answered my questions right away. On the day, he arrived before the agreed time I never had to wait . The tour itself was fantastic. Wadi Shab is a stunning place and my guide Khalfan made it even better. He’s extremely knowledgeable and always seemed to know exactly what we should do and where we should explore next. He helped me all the day and made sure I was comfortable at every step. On top of that he’s warm, friendly and enjoyable to spend the day with. I recommend this company and especially Khalfan to anyone considering a Wadi Shab tour. Both the operator is and the guide were excellent. Thanks to them I had an unforgettable day.

5.00We had a fantastic time with our guide (Mr Badar), who was punctual, informative and gave us plenty of opportunities to ask for guidance. Mr Badar’s knowledge of Wadi Shab is excellent, in particular his guidance on how to manage the trek and the water elements. He helped my boys (aged 9 and 11) with the trek also, which led to them enjoying it even more. He captured some great footage of us as a family during the tour, meaning we could enjoy living in the moment. Another really nice touch was providing us with fresh fruit, dates and coffee. Would highly recommend Star Tours and Mr Badar!

5.00The wadi tour was exciting mix of hiking swimming and sightseeing.The natural beauty of wadi and clear water pools was just incredible. Our guide was patient,helpful and make sure we were all safe whe climbing and swimming . We also got to visit a small village and learn more about the traditional lifestyle. It was active but enjoyable for all fitness levels. This tour was the highlight of our trip.

5.00Our full day (8 hours) Wadi Shab tour including sinkhole with Khalil was well organized and especially the 45 minute hike (oneway) after a short boat trip to Wadi Shab a real highlight. The riverbed is fantastically located in a mountain valley and the path is good, partly rocky, laid out and good to "crawl" with appropriate care. Khalil was a very helpful guide here and always ensured safety on the hike. Water was adequately provided, in addition there were dates from our own cultivation. Very good. Especially his information and stories about Oman, especially family, social affairs, religion and generally country and people were extremely interesting. And a detour for an important pharmacy stop was also still in it. Highly recommended.

5.00It was a wonderful day! Our guide Khalil picked us up at the hotel at 08:30 in the morning. The spacious Toyota LandcruiserJeep was clean and well maintained. Khalil briefly explained the procedure and provided us with water. Khalil guided us excellently, guided us safely through the stony riverbed upstream to the pool. Khalil gave us a lot of information about Oman, culture, family, society and cuisine. At the end of the tour Khalil went to the pharmacy especially for us. He is very helpful, accommodating and friendly. It was a great and recommended day trip.
