• Tukxi collected us from out hotel, heading first to Funchal Old Town before visiting Ponta do Garajau

  The Tukxi was a unique way to see both Funchal old town and visit Ponta do Garajau. Our guide Margarida was a joy to spend time with, she was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, giving us a true Medeiran experience.

  Daniela was an amazing tour guide..she was fun and very knowledgeable on the history of Madeira and she built a great rapport with us on the tour. I'd recommend the tukxi tour as a great way to get a flavour of the area; they offer a lot of tours to various different towns. Thank you Daniela x

  Very enjoyable 2 hour trip to the statue with Gonzalez our guide. He was so knowledgeable about his country . We were picked up on time and had a lovely scenic drive to our destination. He told us to take our time there. We walked up to the statue and then took the 5euro each trip in cable car to the bottom. We also had a stop in the way there. Would definitely recommend

  Joao was our driver. He was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great tour going up into the forest and then back down to Christ the Redeemer statue. Prompt pick up and dropped back to our hotel. I would fully recommend this and easy to book too.

  Our guide Sebastian was punctual arriving at our hotel to pick us up. He was a very good driver & gave a good narration about various sights on our trip to Garajau. Would highly recommend this company, and you could focus on viewing the sights from the back of a Tuk tuk & not feel rushed at all. Lovely way to see the city.

  We were on a Princess cruise that stopped in Madeira, and were picked up right where we disembarked the ship. Funchal is such a beautiful city. And having locals take you through a place they love is the way to go! There were 6 of us so we booked 2 Tukxis. Rosato and John not only spoke excellent English, but they also were excellent drivers and we felt safe the entire time. (The 6 of us played musical chairs so we each got to experience their driving as well as their commentary.) They provided a real snapshot of history and culture of Madeira. Really recommend this tour if you have a short time - that is - a one day port stop on a cruise. Warning - you will want to return to Madeira!

  A great 2-hour trip through the city and out to the statue of Christ. Our guide Needia was really friendly and knowledgeable - great fun to be with. Felt completely safe in the TukTuk. We initially wanted to do the electric SMART car tour, but it was fully-booked, so this was actually our second choice. However, I’m now really glad we did this instead - highly recommended. Thanks again, Needia, for a memorable trip.

  Amazing tour, thank you Cat for a wonderful tour of this beautiful city, I would recommend this tour to everyone wanting to know a little more about Funchal and Madeira.
