Gobustan Rock Art

Gobustan Reserve. The largest collection of rock paintings-petroglyphs made over thousands of years, bride kidnapping, hunting, fishing, rituals and dances in which almost the entire tribe participates - all this is captured. At the foot of Mount Boyuk-Dash, Livus Maximus, a centurion of the XII Lightning Legion (in the 1st century AD), left an "autograph", which turned out to be the easternmost of the inscriptions made by the Romans. There are short sayings in Arabic: "Came, prayed, left" and even images of men in turbans.

We had a very nice day with Jabriel. He told us a lot of interesting details and also responded well to the children - so the whole family had fun. We especially liked the fact that we could also adapt the tour to our wishes
