One of the best times to see and and experience Cape Cod is after dark when the landscape is lit by starlight or moonlight. These times also give you the opportunity to visit and travel between destinations during hours that many people are asleep making these places quiet and serene.
This tour is available for all experience levels.
Night photography is a fantastic way to capture popular or "over shot" subjects in new ways. We'll use long exposure techniques and flashlights to create an immersive art experience.
If you've never visited the Cape Cod area and are unsure of where the best subjects are, this tour ensures you get the best locations based on the sky conditions available.
Choose between a moonlight or starlight(Milky Way) tour! Contact me for the date range you are available for more information on moon phase and sky information.

Before booking, please contact me for availability. See, experience and photograph Cape Cod lit by moonlight and starlight as we embark on a guided tour designed to teach you how to capture amazing locations at night. All skill levels are welcome and participants need only their camera gear and a passion for discovering new ways to see this beautiful area after dark. You'll leave with great memories and a new skill learned from the area's only full time night photographer. Our destinations include the best of what Cape Cod offers along the National Seashore and outer Cape. Nauset Light, Cape Cod Light, Three Sisters, Stage Harbor and Hardings beach will round out our route giving you the opportunity to photograph these unique landscapes with fantastic night sky backdrops. Transportation to all locations is included! I will pick you up at your hotel, Airbnb or rental anywhere on Cape Cod and drop you off safely at the end of our evening. Participants will receive printed course material and a matted print of one of that night's locations. The moon calendar will dictate what skies are in store for your visits. 5.00Cape Nights with Tim is an incredible experience! Tim is a fantastic instructor. He not only knows his craft inside and out, but he has a real gift for teaching it in a way that clicks. He brings you to the best hidden gems and iconic spots on the Cape, always making sure you are in the right place at the right time for the light and conditions. What really stands out is his respect for your own artistic vision. He will guide and support you without ever pushing you into a cookie cutter style. I walked away inspired, more confident in my skills, and excited to put what I learned into practice. 5.00Tim is an extremely patient and informative guide. I ended the tour a much more confident (and competent) and with great shots to boot. Tim was great about catering to my level of skill and experience (minimal) and I took home many simple and practical technical that I can use on my own.

5.00Tim was great, I’m a pretty decent photographer, but wanted to really understand astrophotography. Not only did he do a great job teaching me, he timed our evening perfectly re: locations. He is also gregarious, I feel like I’ve made a new friend on the Cape. Can’t recommend this enough, and suspect he is amazing for any level of photography based on how he teaches stuff.

5.00Tim was absolutely awesome! The sky was a bit cloudy but that didn’t stop us from getting some great shots. I learned a ton about light painting, exposure settings, and local history as well! I’d recommend this to anyone looking to get some memorable shots and learn Astro photography!

5.00I've known Tim and have taken his workshop classes now for 7 years...There isnt a workshop that I've taken where I haven't come away with a new sense of knowledge..satisfaction..and a great time. If there is a more knowledgeable night time photographer on Cape Cod..I'd like to meet him. Tim takes the time to explain to everyone in his small groups what each workshop will be like...places we'll be going..settings...and he takes the time to seek out each person in the group to assist in any way you can. There's only one name in Cape Cod night photography.....Tim Little

5.00My friend/neighbor and I had a great experience with Tim on his Cape Cod guided night tour, under the harvest moon. Tim's enthusiasm was contagious and his patience was something we both appreciated. I learned a great deal about low-light shooting with my Sony, including camera functions I never would have changed or considered, and came back with solid tips on low-light manual focusing, timing of exposures, and best settings. I plan to take Tim's astrophotography class in the spring, and greatly look forward to it!
