  We had the most incredible boat tour on Lake Como, departing from the charming town of Varenna. From the moment we set off, the views were absolutely breathtaking — picturesque villages, lush hillsides, and some of the most stunning villas I’ve ever seen. Our guides, Pietro and Federica, were simply amazing. Warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about the lake and its history, they brought every stop to life with fascinating stories and local insights. Their energy and hospitality made the whole experience feel personal and truly special. Whether it was pointing out famous villas, sharing fun facts about the region, or just making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment, they went above and beyond. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Lake Como. If you’re looking for a unique and intimate way to experience the beauty of the lake, I can’t recommend this enough!

  We had a beautiful day on the lake with this beautiful couple. Frederica and Pietro grew up on the lake and were very knowledgeable about the history of the lake and everyday life on in Como! It’s the best way to experience Lake Como. Highly recommend the 4 hours to see all the sites and get a swim in! Will be booking with Como Floaty Tour again on our next trip!

  Pietro and Federica were absolutely FANTASTIC! My wife and I loved the time we spent with them and appreciated their knowledge of Lake Como. Special thanks to them for easing our nerves during a rain storm and taking us to a classic Lake como bar for aperol spritzs and then returning us to the hotel when it was safe to do so! We loved their boat, great sound system and tasty prosecco! I would definitely recommend them to any and all travelers--especially couples between 28-45 as they are young, hip and fun!

  I swear that trip for an hour wasn’t long enough. Fantastic tour good value for money and we’re returning in a few months so will definitely come back again as I’m wanting to bring my child and he will love it

• Where is Riva Grande Pier in Varenna?

  I was a frustrated client. I booked with Como Floaty Tours and found out I had booked the wrong date, thus out $344. OK, My bad and I will own it. The company had another opening the next day and offered me a tour, but with another 150 Euros. Again, Ok....we just wanted this experience. The problem was locating the pier to meet the boat. The company told me to go to the Riva Grande Pier in Varenna.. I put in my maps, went there and they never showed up. I previously sent them 2 e-mails to use and a different phone number. Unfortunately they still used my phone, which is substandard so I didn't get the text. After we missed the second tour (no charges since we didn't "meet up") I called, and Frederica told me I was in the wrong place. I said, "I was at the pier YOU COMMUNICATED TO ME. She didn't want to help or didn't want to understand what went wrong. She simply said if we came to the pier they could give us a 10 minute tour. How could I go there? So, in conclusion: I made the first mistake. Careless on my part. BUT, I feel the second attempt was their fault. If they tell me to go to a certain pier and I "Googled it" and went there it it led, then they should make it more clear. As a foreign tourist I can't be the only one with this problem. It is too late for me, BUT please fix it in the future! I was extremely disappointed with Federica! She was NO HELP and didn't even seem to care enough to help me, or explain what went wrong with the pier fiasco. I can't recommend them at all since nothing worked out.
