This private tour is perfect for those who want to make the most of their 4 hours experiencing the charm of Hakone.
The tour's greatest strength is its flexibility. Considering the season, weather, and your preferences, our experienced guide will create a customized itinerary for you during a briefing at your pick-up point. For example, if you wish to see Hakone's breathtaking views from various angles, you can choose a plan including Lake Ashi, the Hakone Ropeway, and Owakudani. If you are interested in exploring power spots, you can choose a plan that includes Hakone Shrine. For those who enjoy a good drink, a plan visiting Hakone's wineries or craft breweries is available.
Due to time constraints, we will visit recommended spots, but depending on your pick-up location, we may not be able to visit all your desired locations. Typically, we visit 3-4 locations.

Great Time With my Family in Hakone

5.00This was one of the highlights of our family trip to Japan. After the hustle and bustle of Tokyo Disneyland we wanted to have some time to recharge in Hakone. We only had one full day and decided to book this private tour. Sunny was phenomenal. He quickly put together an itinerary for us based on what we wanted to see. Our priority was to see Mt Fuji and Sunny did not disappoint. With his extensive knowledge of the area he was able to get us to so many great viewing spots despite all of the huge crowds. From site to site he was very informative with the local history and went out of his way to work with my family and was especially attentive to my youngest who asked the most questions. From views to Mr Fuji to recommendations for dinner spots around our hotel Sunny went above and beyond what we were expecting I would 100% recommend this tour.

5.00We had an amazing half-day tour of Hakone with Sun! He was the only guide we found offering a shorter tour, which was perfect for our family with a young child. Sun was incredibly prepared—he even brought a car seat for us! As a Hakone local, he knows all the best tips and hidden gems, making our experience seamless and stress-free. We visited every spot on our list without ever feeling rushed, yet we stayed perfectly on schedule. He’s so knowledgeable, kind, and personable, making the tour both fun and informative. Plus, his pricing is incredibly reasonable for the value he provides. We absolutely loved our time with him and highly recommend his tour to anyone visiting Hakone!

5.00Sun speaks good English, friendly, helpful and approachable. You don’t get bored having him as your personal driver cum tour guide. Our family of four had enjoyed his company. He picked us up on time and sent us back to our hotel, hustle free. He never rushed. Sightseeing was nice. We managed to catch the magnificent sunset. The TOKINOSUMIKA Light of Versailles was awesome! We had our dinner there. He also extended his time with us too. Really nice of him.
