Great day out exploring Astana City

5.00Olzhas took us on a fun half day tour of Astana city. He was both our guide and driver and was fluent in English. Communication with the company was fantastic. The car was new and very comfortable with good air conditioning. Olzhas was also a safe driver. For those unfamiliar with the city, Astana is big and flat and spread out. Normally I would prefer a walking tour, but it is far more sensible to explore by car during the summer heat and given the distance between each site. We got to see several of the awesome monuments, buildings and sites and got to hear the history about the city as well. We ended the tour by getting up Baiterek Tower to enjoy a wonderful view of the city. Olzhas was very enthusiastic and also took us to all the main attractions we wanted to see. He recommended lunch and shopping options for us after the tour ended and was an amazing host. Highly recommend and would use this company again.

5.00I was alone, able to explore the entire city at my own pace and at the agreed time. We were traveling by car early in the morning. Very quiet, no crowds of people... Very nice young student, told very interesting stories. Keep it up!!!

5.00Had a private tour with Leon, who was an excellent guide. We were able to see all the sights on my list in the allotted time. Leon was very knowledgeable of the history of the city and of each place we visited and could explain it clearly. I would recommend this tour. Request Leon if he's available.

5.00We had a great tour with our guide, Zhalgas. He was knowledgeable, interesting and fun. The tour was well-organized and we were able to see all of the best sights in Astana. I think I will book a nighttime tour since Astana must be amazing all lit up!

5.00This was by far the best tour I've been on, and it was entirely due to my guide, Alan. Astana is a fascinating city, but Alan elevated this experience even more with his incredible knowledge and genuine passion for the Kazakh people and culture. There are guides... and then there are guides of Alan's level. I have taken many tours and never had a guide like Alan. All in all, this is a great introduction to some of Astana's incredible sights. If you have limited time in Astana, highly recommend this tour. If you can get Alan as your guide, it will be even better.
