Our drivers are not licensed to accompany you into the sights but are very knowledgeable of the places visited and will provide all the necessary historical information and their local perspective.
The tour can include many interesting stops visitors always enjoy. The famous Acropolis Hill where you can admire the elegant temples of the Parthenon, the Constitution - in Greek Syntagma - Square, where the building of the Hellenic Parliament is located. Take memorable photos from Lycabettus Hill and stroll along Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, explore Plaka, a quaint area developed around the ancient Agora and taste local delicacies in nearby tavernas.
At the end of the ride, your friendly driver will drop you off at your accommodation.

1.00We are a family of 8 with my elderly parents. We booked a van to take us to our hotel. The driver Stratos Tairigotis canceled our van 5 minutes after the grace period saying he had another booking. We were almost there as I explained on text but canceled anyway getting our full payment. There is no one to contact at Welcome Pickups. We ended up paying for the Van arriving just minutes late with my parents in their 80’s and payed for 4 overpriced Athens taxi’s plus the Welcome Pickup full fee. Will never use again

2.00We arranged for a half-day trip to the Acropolis and the museum. Unfortunately, it being a Tuesday, the history museum was closed. We were given "front-door" access to the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum; however, admission was not paid for, so I had to shell out for admission at both locations for a total of over $100. Then, when the tour was ending, the price of the tour was over $200. This for just what amounted to essentially 2.5 hours of driving and no admission tickets. I was VERY displeased by the extravagant amount of this "service". Next time, I will arrange with another agency.

5.00Our tour in Athens Greece was amazing. Our Driver Stefanos was very intentional about what sights to see, giving a great description of what we would see. We had the privacy and great atmosphere we were looking forward to. Our experience in Greece was phenomenal and we would definitely do it again. And would recommend welcome driver Stefanos to anyone. Very polite friendly and knowledgeable.

5.00We were very fortunate to have Manos as our driver and tour guide for 4 hours of sightseeing on our last day in Athens. He was very knowledgeable and personable and especially agreeable to our requests. His suggestions all turned out to be perfect and we greatly enjoyed everything, from the National Library and Cultural Center, to the Flisvos marina, Temple of Poseidon, and delicious seaside lunch. We highly recommend Welcome Pickups- and particularly Manos-to enhance your Athens experience!

5.00Our driver was excellent & made sure we saw everything on our list & so much more. He made sure we did not feel rushed when we would be dropped off to visit a site. He also helped by giving us recommendations on where to eat during our stay in Athens.

2.00I actually haven't gone on my trip yet but I did book the transfers to and from my hotel to the airport. Be careful booking because even though it says you'll get a refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before you are scheduled to go... you only receive 80% of what you paid. I was canceling because we decided to do one of there sight seeing trips instead. So you can cancel... then get a coupon for the full amount you paid. It has been over 3 hours and I still haven't received the coupon and now I am very uncertain if I should book the site seeing tour. I actually didn't do this tour yet... just had a wlcome pickup scheduled. The review wouldn't let me
Horrible Tour with Nikolaos

1.00Nikolaos was our guide and he was terrible. We paid for a wheelchair accessible tour which was booked to Welcome Pickups through Get Your Guide. The vehicle was not what we requested. It was a station wagon. The tour guide left us on the streets in a wheelchair somewhere in Athens and lied about the streets being blocked because of a fire and said he had to get to the airport. Taxi drivers in Athens do not like to pick up people in wheelchairs so we couldn't get anyone to get us home. A nice person in a restaurant had to beg a taxi driver to take us home. I do not recommend this company. They treat the handicapped horribly.

5.00We had a great half-day tour to Poseidon Temple near Athens. Driver Ilias Kanteres very polite and with a lot of knowledge regarding Greek ancient culture was a very pleasant host. He drove us to the best places and finally to a very good fish restaurant clode to the see. It was an unforgettable day and I recommend to all the persons who want to try this nice experience.
