  AMAZING Experience!! I recommend 100%!! The captain and guide treated us great, explained everything perfectly and made us feel safe in the water at all times! He has great knowledge of the behavior of whales that made us see and swim with them for a long time! Repeat with them for sure

  This was our second time going out with Mo’orea Sea Experience, and somehow it still felt just as special and awe-inspiring as the first. That’s what makes this crew so unique — every trip feels new, meaningful, and deeply personal. From the start, the connection with the team is effortless. They’re not just great at what they do — they’re genuinely good people who care about making the experience unforgettable for you while always keeping the ocean and its creatures at the center of it all. One of the things we respect most is their approach to the whales and the ocean in general. There’s a clear respect and intention in everything they do — never chasing, never intruding. You’re witnessing something incredible, but doing it the right way. And they don’t just take you out there — they teach you, guide you, and make sure you walk away with more than just memories. You leave with a deeper understanding and appreciation. We’ve had moments with them that are hard to describe — the kind you carry with you long after you leave. • Great whale experience, shame about the group of humans

  It was genuinely a great experience, we saw a few juvenile humpbacks up close, which was truly magical. What took away from this marine experience was the guide pulling me back by my fin when I accidentally floated away a couple of meters from group while watching. Today was hard to hold close to group, as they kept swimming away while I was in awe of the whales, but they seemed to get annoyed by it which wasn’t intentional. I’ve swam with whales in Australia a few times now, and am extremely respectful of keeping my distance however today was a little confronting being told to stay back a lot when we weren’t really at dangerous proximity. I saw other groups and boats get a lot closer. We were also told to hold onto a boogie board together which I didn’t want to do to give myself space from inexperienced snorkelers who kept being on top of each other. One panicked before we even started. The captain was super friendly and warm which made up for a bit of the group hostility. It was a little uncomfortable to be around, but I really enjoyed the whales. This was for a milestone birthday and was very excited to do this here in Tahiti, however I was disappointed by the group dynamic, and guide wanting us to stick so close with each other when some people clearly weren’t comfortable in the water. I love whales and thought that part was amazing!

  Our team was truly fantastic and gave us a day of beautiful memories! They were very welcoming, kind, patient, and made sure we were safe at all times. When we spotted whales, they made sure to prioritize our safety while ensuring we received the full experience. It was truly special!

  We went on multiple trips with Mana, Ariihau, & there team. Amazing. As inexperienced snorkelers, we felt very safe and taken care of. They were patient and positive and we had a genuinely great time. The whales were amazing, and the respect and wonder that this team has for them is palpable. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking to experience the humpback whales in an intimate and respectful way.

  We were recommend to book this tour by our Enjoy Moorea Island tour guide as we were looking for a last minute booking. Moorea Sea Experience did not disappoint. The guide and driver were great and really know there jobs well. We had two incredible encounters with a Mama, Baby and escort whale. If you want to go whale watching and swim with the whales choose this tour!

  This excursion was one of our highlights on our vacation. We were able to see the whales, sharks and stingrays. Louis and Teddy were exceptional. They were so accommodating to our needs and always stayed in great communication. This is definitely one for the books.

  We went for 2 half-day whale trips and both boat captains and both guides were wonderful. The guides gave us very good instructions in and out of the water to keep us safe and get amazing views of the whales without disturbing them. The water was rough and we had quite a few people get sick, but the guide was helpful and kind trying to help everyone through it, while still providing an amazing experience in the water. Another group arrived at one of the whales and their customers broke the rules getting too close to whales and diving and immediately the whales left. Last year we went with another very popular company and saw many customers breaking the rules getting too close to the whales and freediving with them. Moorea Sea Experience has only small groups and is very respectful of these interactions with the whales and thei whales' space. We had a great experience and would 100% use this company again.

  The three of us booked a half day private tour to swim with the whales in early November. We decided to go through this company since we could get a small private tour for a more peaceful experience with the whales. The owner was incredibly kind and simply amazing to have as our guide! We could not have asked for a more magical experience. We ran into the other company mid trip which was made up of a very large group and were so incredibly grateful we went with this company! Cannot recommend enough! They earned their five stars!!!
