My tours are not all about the facts and dates, but more to give you a balanced view of Finnish culture, history, economy and everday living. Central Library Oodi
Helsinki Central Library Oodi is a living meeting place at Kansalaistori square, right at the heart of Helsinki. It is one of 37 branches of Helsinki City Library and part of the Helmet library network. Oodi complements the cultural and media hub formed by Helsinki Music Centre, Finlandia Hall, Sanoma House and the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma. Oodi is a non-commercial, urban public space that is open to all, right opposite the Parliament Building.
Sibelius Monument
The world famous composer Jean Sibelius' monument by Eila Hiltunen is located at the Sibelius park. The Sibelius Monument, resembling organ pipes, is made of welded steel. The monument is one of Helsinki's most popular statues and one of the most well-known tourist attractions a perfect place for a nice picture and learn about Sibelius.

5.00Paulo was very kind, he was with us since we landed, he took us to see the city, the main tourist attractions, he gave us tips on cafes, shops and restaurants. It was really cool to learn a little more about the history of this beautiful place and how the people live. At the end of the trip we went to Porvoo, a small medieval town with wooden houses, super cool! I recommend 😊

5.00My husband and I came to Finland to explore his family history and learn about this beautiful country. Paulos was the perfect tour guide and ambassador of all that makes Finland so special. He is a fountain of information with regard to the history of the country as well as a champion for all that is beautiful in present day Finland and a beacon of hope for the bright light of Finlands future. Paulos is an amazing tour guide and a wonderful person. He is excited about showing this country. Thorough in his planning of the tour and responsive and kind both pre and post tour. He is truly a lovely person and consummate professional.

5.00We did a half day Helsinki tour with Paulo in his car and it was absolutely fantastic. Paulo was was detailed with his explanations and showed us around the best places in the city. He is very passionate about his work and treated our family like his personal guests. I would highly recommend this tour. Best way to see Helsinki.

5.00Our recommendation: Half day Helsinki trip with Paulo in his car . He showed us this amazing European City from its best side, explained history as well as nowadays topics . We both were absolutely fascinated from the walk in the city and the car drive along the Baltic Sea . We have seen many different parts of the city, churches and the huge Icebreakers. 5.00Paulos tour thoughout Helsinki was simply amazing. What can you expect? An extremely pleasant and kind gentleman with good manners (very important for us), a great sense of humour (his Portuguese background), a clean, comfortable car (and safe driving!), lots of inside information about the city - and most importantly: a lot of fun! From taking a look at the icebreakers of the Baltic sea to the Russian church and the food market - great value for money! What I really think distinguishes Paulo from other fantastic local guides is that he has the ability to look at Helsinki and the Nordics not only as a resident of the city but also as someone who had to get accustomed to the Nordics himself. So he broadened our perspective of the city quite substantially. Bottom line: the trip was a birthday present for my wife and she absolutely loved it. We flew in from Frankfurt, Germany, in September and Paulo picked us up at the airport which was a very pleasant experience. Top man!

5.00Paolo picked us up from the airport and drove us around Helsinki showing us the most amazing places of interest in the city , he took us to a food market to get something to eat at the end and then took us back to the airport in time to catch our flight. Incredible service , great knowledge and just an overall great guy, thank you again Paolo Cheers

5.00I’ve sent several queries to several tour operators but Paulo was the most responsive. We were so happy we booked our tour with him. He was very thorough, friendly and cordial. He made sure we had a great time. Prior and after our trip, he was still in touch with us. Definitely, well recommended!
