  I contacted Riga with Us regarding a horse back ride. When I got the price it was three times higher than any other stables around. I pointed this out to them and received two insulting emails in reply. The last one called me a "penny-pincher", see the attached screenshot. Not a customer service organization. I found a different stable and had a wonder afternoon at a third the price.

  This was a bucket list kind of experience: Ride on the beach in a different country. fun but more geared towards beginner riders. A bit pricey but guides were good: on time, courteous and kind.

  Despite they were quit busy Vadim manage to schedule for me last day in Riga. It was a great experience riding by the sea. The horses are looking good and well cared for and was very easy and nice to ride. Both the girl from the stable and the guide was kind to take pictures as memories. I was picked up at hotel, the stable is appr. 30 minutes drive from Riga and Vadim was nice providing information about the surroundings and also additional tip about what to see and experience in Riga. Very good experience, would for sure book again if I visit Riga in the future.

  

  

  

• 'Riga with us' ruined my Girlfriend's Birthday

  It is now the morning of my Girlfriend's Birthday, we had booked through Viator to go Horse Riding at 11:00 with this 'company' 'Riga with us' and after having the first 2 hours of our morning wasted our with excuses of how 11:00 wouldn't work and blaming the weather, it has now been cancelled. Interactions from the start with this company have been questionable from the start. It initially showed up when I searched for horse riding at Jurmala, once booked though I looked for the exact address as we had other events booked in Jurmala and could not find 1. When I contacted the company for an exact address I was told it was not in Jurmala but in Vecāki (50 minutes away) and still I got no exact address. We rescheduled our plans in Jurmala to make the time work. Then last night (the night before our booking) I decided to contact again to get an exact location as we still had none and then the stories started. Today is blue skies and sun and the operator initially said that he could not do 11:00 as it was windy and cold. Anyone used to being out on a horse would find this a strange reason. We were then asked if we could do 10:00 to which we said yes. Then he said 13:00 at which point I called as this would not work. The operator was rude and patronising. He had no solution and hung up. He then called back and asked if 12:00 would work, we said yes and then within 10 minutes received an email from Viator saying it was cancelled. This 'company' is a sham and has just ruined our day. Company called 'Riga with us' initially offered a service that came up under Horse Riding at Jurmala, but there was no address.

  I'm so glad I was able to do this while in Riga. I've never rode a horse before so I was nervous but everyone (including the horse :D) was amazing and accommodating. So this was a great introduction to horse riding for me. Couldn't have asked for a better guide. From pickup at my hotel, snapping pictures, translating, and working out logistics in real-time - she was world-class. I loved this experience so much that I hope to continue to learn how to ride.

  

  

  

• Amazing guide and tour!

  I’ve had a very nice experience. It was a gift for my boyfriend birthday and the guide brought a muffin and a candle to surprise which was a very nice thing to do from him :). The trip with the horses is very peaceful along the beach. They are lovely and we had amazing views and cool pictures which the guide also took during the riding.

  A very nice and relaxing horseback riding tour with an amazing scenary of Baltic Sea. The tour guide Vadims was very professional and friendly. He was very knowledgable and did not hesitate to answer all my questions. I can highly recommend this tour. Thanks and keep up the good work!

  We booked this last minute while backpacking through the Baltics. They were great at organizing everything, even on such short notice. The horses were well-loved, calm, and safe for beginners. We are both experienced riders and had the opportunity to trot and canter along the beach! I would recommend this to both timid beginners and experienced riders, they cater to whatever you are comfortable with.

  It was a gift from my husband for our wedding anniversary. I didn’t know where we were going and when I saw horses I was almost in tears, I love horses and it was my dream to ride horse close to the sea side! We had a wonderful time! Everything went smooth and relaxing, Thanks again for this amazing experience

  The horses were so sweet and reliable. Nice, relaxing ride by the beach. The quide was really friendly and helpfull also. It was made easy for us, when the quide came to pick us up from the hotel. Everything worked out perfectly. Horse owner lady was so cute talking kindly to the horses. We felt so relaxed after this trip! We recommed.
