Nara Park

Kasuga Grand Shrine

It is located in the east of Nara Park and famous for its lanterns, which have been donated by worshipers. Hundreds of bronze lanterns can be found hanging from the buildings, while as many stone lanterns line its approaches.

Yoshikien

Yoshikien Garden is a pleasant Japanese garden located in central Nara. It is named after the Yoshikigawa River, a small river that runs beside the garden. There are three unique gardens within Yoshikien: a pond garden, a moss garden and a tea ceremony garden.

Arashiyama Bamboo Forest

Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is one of Japan’s most iconic sites. Officially called the Sagano Bamboo Forest, this enchanting spot features a 500-meter path surrounded by towering bamboo stalks.

Kiyomizudera Temple

It is one of the most celebrated temples of Japan and best known for its wooden stage. In 1994, the temple was added to the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. Kiyomizudera Temple is a popular spot for cherry blossoms and autumn leaves.

Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine

It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds.

Gion

Gion is Kyoto's most famous geisha district. Within Kyoto, the Gion area is known as the center of maiko and geisha culture, a place that embodies traditional beauty.

Gion Corner

You will enjoy a 50-minute Geisha show at Gion Corner and can take the picture with maiko after the show finish.

Byodoin Temple

Byodoin's buildings were repeatedly lost to fires and other calamities over the centuries, however, the Phoenix Hall was never destroyed, making it one of the few original wooden structures to survive from the Heian Period.

Uji River

The Uji River flows through town, dividing Uji into two parts. Its prominent position shapes the beautiful landscape of the town.

Mitsuboshien-Kanbayashisannyu-Honten is a long-established store first started in the Tensho Era and known as the master of tea ceremony for the Shogunate.They do not aim to just sell genuine Uji Tea but also to impart the knowledge of taste and history of tea. They also provide tea-ceremony experience to customers which takes half an hour.

Ishitera Tea Plantation

Ishitera Tea Plantation is located in Wazuka, a town in southern Kyoto Prefecture, is famous for its production of exquisite green tea. This town has an 800-year history of making high-quality Uji tea.

Osaka Castle Park

Osaka Castle Park is one of Osaka's most beloved cherry blossom viewing spots, with the Osaka Castle Tower enhancing the backdrop.

Umeda Sky Building

Umeda Sky Building consists of two 40-story towers interconnected at their two uppermost stories via glass bridges with escalators and elevators.

Kuchu Teien Observatory

The Kuchu Teien Observatory is an observation facility connecting the Tower East and Tower West of the Umeda Sky Building, on the 39th, 40th and rooftop floors.

Santa Maria is a sea-faring sight-seeing ship cruising the Osaka Bay, the Water Capital. The journey takes about 45 minutes.

Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street

It is one of Osaka's main streets. Spanning over 600 meters, this street is home to shops, restaurants, and cafes that cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park is one of the most prominent features of the city. Even visitors not looking for it will likely stumble upon the large park of over 120,000 square meters.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

Peace Memorial Museum is the park's main facility. Consisting of two buildings, the museum surveys the history of Hiroshima and the advent of the nuclear bomb. Its main focus though is on the events of August 6: the dropping of the bomb and its outcome in human suffering.

Atomic Bomb Dome

The A-Bomb Dome is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is a tangible link to Hiroshima's unique past. It's also known as the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, is what remains of the former Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall. The building served as a location to promote Hiroshima's industries.

Miyajima

Miyajima is a small island less than an hour outside the city of Hiroshima. It is known for its forests and ancient temples. Just offshore, the giant, orange Great Torii Gate is partially submerged at high tide.

Itsukushima Shrine

The shrine and its torii gate are unique for being built over water, seemingly floating in the sea during high tide. The shrine consists of multiple buildings, including a prayer hall, main hall and noh theater stage, which are connected by boardwalks and supported by pillars above the sea.
