Baisha Ancient Town
The tour guide and driver will pick you up from hotel at 9am and visit Baisha Village (15 kilometers away from Lijiang City). Naxi ethnic group was originally settled here from the Southern Song Dynasty over eight centuries ago. The special aesthetic style and impressive historic details of the mural deeply attract travelers from other part of China as well as globally.
Lijiang Impressions Show
After lunch, you will watch the largest outdoor scene “Lijiang Impressions” directed by famous movie director Zhang Yimou(70 minutes). During the show, you will also see the beautiful Jade Dragon Snow Mountain”as the real acting background scene. This amazing show makes you feel so close to the life of both nature and the reality.

5.00It was a fabulous experience on the whole. The 4hr+ drive from Lijiang to Lugu town was filled with amazing sights of majestic mountains and green rivers running among them and the entire scene set before a bright blue sky. In the trip, we witnessed the serene beauty of the Lugu Lake, and the various life forms in and around the huge lake, in particular, the life of the people of the minority tribe, the matriachal community. The trip had been a meaningful and enjoyable one, and more so because of Alice. Although the weather then in late February early March was chilly. But we were warmed by the hospitality of our guide, Alice, from Lijiang.
