We completed the Manaslu Circuit trek with our guide Raj, and I want to express my sincere gratitude to him. We wanted to walk fast, and he matched our pace perfectly, keeping the entire journey comfortable and safe. Everything was well planned: a safe route, smart altitude transitions, and comfortable places to stay overnight. He always helped us choose food and knew exactly where to find really good local meals. He showed us great spots and shared interesting facts about the trail, the culture, and mountain life. Thanks to Raj, the trek felt easy, full of great experiences, and genuinely enjoyable. A great guide whom I can confidently recommend.

We did the Manaslu circuit trek from Machhakhola to Tilche. For us it took 12 days on the trail plus 2 days of traveling to and from the trail. The trek goes through amazing nature with spectacular views and many small villages. The comunication with the company owner Mr. Surendra was very good and he was helpful with customizing the itinerary so that it fitted our preferences and further travel plans. He also helped us get all the nessesary permits for the trek. The company has a nice and quiet hotel in Thamel in Kathmandu where we stayed before taking the bus to the startingpoint of our trek. This was very practical and it was easy to ask questions we had about the trek before we headed out. Pickup at the airport to the hotel was included in the price. Unfourtunately, because of illness in the family of our inital guide, he had to return to Kathmandu after three days and we had to change guide. Mr. Surendra got us a new guide super quick and we only had spend one extra night in Jagat, which had little consequenses for our planed trek. Our new guide Mr. Yaka, which stayed with us for the rest of the trek, was very experienced and knowledgeable and we always felt safe and well taken care of. Among other things, he helped us book room at the tea houses (which were all good), served us food, teached us about the different villages and nepali culture, and got all the nessesay stamps at the check points on the way. He is also a very nice person and was good company during the trek. One thing worth mentioning and to be aware of is that a road is under constuction on the Manaslu circuit. Although this probably is good for the locals, it is not so good for the trekking. With our starting and finishing point there was only a little walking on road in the beginning and at the end of the trek but this might change in the future. Of cource this has nothing to do with the Himalayas on foot. Overall we are very happy with the experience and we warmly recommend Mr. Yaka, Mr. Surendra and Himalayas on Foot.
