5.00Where to start? This tour was the best we have been on in multiple countries and cities, mostly because of Markus. Markus gave us the city history and WWII/Nazi implications as we spent the first two hours walking through Munich. He made sure we saw the major Christmas markets, sharing how Germans experience them which gave us more of an idea of local culture. Our visit to Dachau was educational, sobering and impactful. Markus’ extensive knowledge and study of the subject, in addition to his passion added layers of context to the day. He took time to get to know us and share stories and information in a way that resonated with us (one of us a sociologist, the other a data analyst), and we had great discussions about not only history but current global events. It was a highlight of our entire time in Germany.

5.00Nice walking trip to orient us with old city Munich, including all the usual highlights plus a few extras. Dachau was sobering but good. Our guide, Adam, was amazing! Great personality and very knowledgeable. We would love to go on another tour with him someday!!!
