  Bragi took us out from Reykjavic on our first night in Iceland. Although we were tired from multi-day travel from Australia, he encouraged us to go out with him that night as the possibility for decent aurora activity was better than the following couple of days. He doesn't take people out if the terrestrial weather (clouds) or solar activity means it will be a poor show. Saw the Northern Lights overhead, streaming across us and pouring down like a winged angelic being. Bucket list ticked on the first night of 3 weeks in this incredible country. It meant we have professional photos to look back on and although we saw them ourselves since, it took the pressure off hunting for them every night (time consuming and tiring and photography can be challenging). Hot chocolate and schnapps was offered and having someone else local doing the driving at night on the "wrong" side of the road was such a relief. Thank you so much Bragi for the memory you helped create. Can't wait to look at the photos at home on my laptop to fully appreciate what we experienced. Amanda and Sascha.

  Not really much to complain about anyways when you propose under the northern lights and everything goes as you hoped , BUT.. this would have Never been possible with anyone apart from Bragi. He was checking the weather/ Aurora forecast each Minute it felt and kept me updated all day. It looked super unlucky for us for the whole Trip but he found the Perfect window and got us some wonderful memories. A great guide and also for my girlfriend it was super cool to be taught how to capture the Northern lights. Bragi made us feel super comfortable, got some good Stories to tell and knows exactly when and where to go. I‘d always recommend to spend some extra Money and capture These Special Moments forever rather than Saving on the wrong end and sitting on a full Bus that always goes to the Same 3 Spots without a proper guide. He edits every single picture for the Perfect outside. Bragi is worth it.

  I’m so grateful for Bragi and his efforts to give us the best northern lights experience. We tried for multiple days for a clear view, and he was so encouraging when we were almost ready to give up! The results were a spectacular memory, enjoyable company and beautiful photos. Thank you Bragi!!

  I fully recommend this tour. I took the tour as a solo female traveler and felt completely comfortable and had a great time talking with my guide, who was extremely knowledgeable about the auroras. The photos I received are wonderful as well and I received them very quickly after my tour. A wonderful experience and I am so glad I booked this tour.

  Wow! What an experience from Bragi and Arctic Shots! We cannot rave more about Bragi. Our family was two adults, one 70 year old and one 4 year old. Bragi was wonderful at handling our group dynamic. He set expectations early in that we may only see the milky way due to our trip being wedged between two bad snow storms and that this may be the only night. We did see the milky way and it was beautiful, but there was a hint of Northern Lights starting to show, so Bragi decided we should stay and see what happens. We are so glad he did! We stayed for a few hours and watched the sky dance. The Northern Lights were absolutely stunning. Bragi was such a great host. He made sure we were warm and comfortable. He was patient with my tired, cold son and still got some amazing family photos. He even took photos of a piece of artwork my son made of the Northern Lights against the sky, which we will cherish forever. Bragi has a such a passion for the beauty of the sky, Iceland and for making sure you have a positive and fun experience. My mom can now check off seeing the Northern Lights from her bucket list and we all have an experience we will never forget. THANK YOU SO MUCH BRAGI! Book with him! He will take care of you and make sure that you see the best you can see while you are there.

  I came to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. It was a healing journey for me. My only child, my son, died last year and I came here to be closer to my son through this experience. Odinn made it perfect. We did find the Northern Lights and it was breathtaking. He helped me with settings on my camera and he took photos as well. I love the one he took of me under the Northern Lights. The big tours on buses are fine if you want to be a casual observer of the lights. If however you want to experience them Arctic Shots is the experience you want. They truly cared about my experience and making it happen. Thank you so much Odinn, you have given me some peace and the healing has begun.

  We were deciding on a few tour providers to chase the aurora. we decided to go with PRIVATE Northern light photo infused tour as it provides digital shots of the elusive aurora. We're a family of 4, 2 of our kids are 6 and 9 yrs old. Bragi, our guide is wonderful, friendly and informative. The first night he brought us, we couldnt find the lights. We went on for 3 hours before calling it a day. Bragi kept us posted the following days when we were in Reykjavik if it was a god day to chase. Eventhough the first day was futile, he though my husband how to operate the camera to best capture the lights. He taught him how to look for signs of the aurora. These are the best lessons ever! While we move around Iceland, he was in touch with us and sharing with us possible sightings at the area we are in. In the last 3 days, we were near Reykjavik. He came to fetch us at our cabin and we got to see the lights. He again guided husband with his camera, we got our family shot and he got blankets and hot choc for the kids when the night was getting too cold. The kids were comfortable with his friendliness too! When we got back to our cabin, with the valuable lessons from Bragi, husband managed to sight the aurora again. So clear this time and we managed to get it on camera! Wouldnt be possible without Bragi's lessons. So to conclude, i wld pay slightly more for this tour, you get your money's worth it in Bragi's experience and guidance he un-selfishly shares.

  Oddin was a fantastic guide and photographer and comunication with Bragi was excellent! He has lots of patiente with us to see aurora, staying much longer than expected with us to get the best sight and also looking constantly for the best spot. The experience and the photos taken were amazing!! No regrets on booking this tour, last night was one for the books!!

  The northern lights tour was one of our highlights! Our guide Odinn is a perfect hunter for lights and such a great guy! When there is a light, he will find it and get it on his camera! We had such an great evening and night with much fun, awesome moments und beautyful pictures. Highly recommended!
