  We have a couple of suggestions that would improve this tour, but we are giving it a five-star rating thanks to guide Alex's nice job on showing us the Singapore sites. Alex was friendly, engaging and informative - he focused more on the modern cultural aspects of Singapore versus the historical, which was fine by us and of more interest to us anyway. He did a nice job getting us to the front of the line at the various sites and ensuring we were comfortable. (Singapore is VERY hot and humid.) By way of suggestions, the pre-tour communications were not great - we like to connect with tour providers in advance from home, and this company did not even have a WhatsApp number, which is now a standard with other companies. Also, considering the hefty price tag of the tour (and understanding Singapore is NOT cheap) it would have been nice to be asked in advance of the tour what exactly we would like to see - this is usually the case with private tours. Even if we would have selected the same sites, it is nice to be asked.

  I was able to see all the attractions on the itinerary. Admission tickets to the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, the Singapore Flyer, and the Clarke Quay river cruise were included and pre-purchased, so it saved me time. My tour guide Alex was friendly. Alex made good suggestions for lunch options and bought food for me at a hawker centre. He also gave me some good advice about getting around Singapore and where to find food or go shopping etc. It would be a good orientation tour for people who visit Singapore for the first time. The schedule was a bit tight, but it was understandable, as it had a number of activities packed in one day.

  This was an awesome day! Alex, our driver/guide showed up on-time at our hotel in a clean Mercedes and proceeded to show us the town. When he needed to park, he left us in a safe spot for just a minute, then rejoined us and always walked us right to the ticket taker with phone ticket in hand. He appeared at every exit and whisked us away to our next stop, and magically provided umbrellas when it began to rain. He had info, jokes, and always a smile, and even ordered and brought our lunch food to us at a table (we paid him back). At the end of the tour he advised us how to get back to Gardens by the Bay for the light show, and to then walk back to the Marina Bay Promenade for that light show. Overall, a great day, and we recommend you pick him for your small-group tour. We weren't sure how much to tip him - we ended up doing US$20 per adult.
