Last minute tour guide cancelation and no refund

Well, don't really know how to start. Our tour guide messages us 3 minutes before we were supposed to start our tour to tell us that she couldn't make it and she would get the tour company to contact us. Surprisingly, they never did. We finally managed to get in touch with them, they then were very apologetic and offered us a tour on another day but we had cleared out our entire day for this tour. We finally settled on a shorter your later on in the day. Our new tour guide was not a tour guide. She was a lovely lady, who had clearly never done this before. So we then went on to do basically our own thing but with a new friend that we paid for who once in a while would say something. We were also told that they'd get back in touch with us for a refund as we paid for a much longer tour, that never happened. We were told we'd hear back on what went wrong, never happened. We were told we'd hear from them asking about how our tour was, never happened. So basically, one day of a time waste and lots of false promises. To top it off, money unjustly taken as well. Couldn't have been handled worse, we're not even fussy people, just can't think of someone actually doing it worse.

this was a great way to start our time in Japan! we were able to let Kanna know what sorts of things we enjoyed and Kanna created an amazing itinerary! Kanna was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun! i would highly recommend this tour and ask for Kanna!

Max was a very thoughtful guide, very considerate, knowledgable, and super chill. We went at a comfortable pace and saw many of Osaka's top sights. Max took time to not only show us around but give us insight and recommendations for the rest of our trip. It was a wonderful experience we won't forget. Highly recommend.
