Petra
Will pick you up from Aqaba Port by the cruise exit door. After that you will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle for about 1.5 hours to the rose red city in Petra, a must-see in the Middle East. Upon arrival at the Visitor's Centre start on horse back or on foot to the Siq, a narrow gorge, and continue to the beautiful Treasury. From there you will be walked along the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Qasr Al Bent. After buffet lunch you will be driven back to the cruise in Aqaba.

5.00Although visiting Jordan on a cruise ship, their tour to Petra could not provide a carriage to travel through the Siq to the Treasury, needed as the 2 ladies in our group could not walk that distance. So we booked the whole trip with Viator and everything worked very well. We were met by a nice representative as soon as we disembarked at the port of Aqaba and transported in an aircon minibus to Petra, with interesting commentary along the way. Entry tickets were purchased for us and we met the awaiting carriage for the ladies' transport. Everything worked well on the return journey, including a nice lunch at a local restaurant. We arrived back at the ship in good time for departure. An excellent tour.
