Karon Viewpoint
Karon Viewpoint is one of the most frequented viewpoints in Phuket. From here, it is possible to take in views of Kata Noi, Kata Yai and Karon beaches.
Nai Harn Beach
From Windmill Viewpoint, beneath the swishing rotor blades that generate electricity for the area (its official name is the ‘Phromthep Alternative Energy Station’), you can spot passing sea traffic, ranging from long-tail boats with their long converted truck motors, to fishing boats heading out into the Andaman, to oil tankers and even mega-sized cruise ships coming from and heading back to Singapore. Flying things Windmill Viewpoint is also a meeting place for model airplane enthusiasts as well as hang gliding types who ride the tropical thermals, eventually coming to a graceful landing down at Nai Harn Beach. Far above and sometimes parallel with the hill, Brahminy kites and sea eagles gracefully glide past. You could be forgiven for thinking that with all this airborne activity Windmill Viewpoint is a crowded spot: It’s anything but, mostly because there’s very little parking space. Still, it’s not only a premium sunset viewing point; it’s also an all-day attractive place with the sea especially azure at midday.

5.00We had a wonderful day exploring Phuket with our driver and guide , Mr.Soon.He was very informative, friendly, and showed us the best parts of the island while sharing interesting facts about local traditions, culture, and everyday life in Phuket.We visited the Big Buddha, Wat Chalong Temple, Phuket Old Town and several beautiful viewpoints around the island.One of the highlights was seeing monkeys at Monkey Hill!The whole day was very enjoyable, relaxing, and full of great memories. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Phuket for the first time!

4.00This tour covers some city highlights but the traffic in Phuket makes it difficult to do so efficiently. Our driver, Mr. Soon, was very helpful and informative.

3.00Know that if you go see the Tigers, you only get tickets for behind the glass. You’ll have to pay more if you want to actually go in and pet the tigers. I read the itinerary wrong. I thought lunch was included, but it’s not. driver just dropped us off as we’re trying to ask Do we pay for our lunch?

5.00Mr Wongsak ( nickname Soon ) was amazing. A truly wonderful tour guide. My husband and I only needed enough information to understand not the history but enough info for every visit we toured, whether it be view points, main attractions or recommendations we suggest he recommended especially the beaches along the way was enough. This made our journey more exciting and our conversations flowing with ease. A truly one of a kind and amazing experience going with the flow for our very first visit to Phuket. So again I Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience Mr Soon.

5.00Our guide, Mr. Soon, was prompt and courteous. He gave us his recommendations about what to see and do, and were not disappointed. He offered a stop at the Tiger Park on the way up to the Big Buddha, and we really enjoyed our encounters with the tigers. All in all, a great day in Phuket.

Great Driver/Guide Knew How to Squeeze Every Minute Out of a Shore Day!!

5.00We plan our Shore Days so that we can see or do as much as possible within the limited time. Our great Driver, Mr. Soon, was excellent at helping us maximize our day in Phukett. Wow! I gave him a general list of items to see from the Viator Activity information. He took it from there. We saw everything on the list, many scenic points, beaches, the best temple in Phukett, shopping areas and went to a fantastic restaurant for lunch. At each place, Mr. Soon would tell us why this was an important place and ask if we would like to spend some time. This allowed us to choose how we wanted to spend our day. We thought we would eat some quick lunch until he suggested (only suggested) a local restaurant near the Big Buddha. We preferred that opportunity and went to it. The food was amazing AND the view was of the entire city and the beach. It was so lovely and ended up being the highlight of the day. His English was good and very helpful as we had many questions about the area and the country. This van was very comfortable. It was a lovely day!
