On this recommended combination tour, we will go on a boat ride through the natural mangroves in search of the endangered Proboscis Monkeys, only found in Borneo Island. We will pass along the traditional Kampong Ayer of Brunei and visit to one of the local house with light refreshment.

Faisal was an excellent guide! Very informative and friendly. We got lucky and saw two families of monkeys. The family home visit was very friendly.

The water culture tour included sighting of several proboscis monkeys in the trees. My driver Baby took me on a great water ride through the huge water city. Truly the most sophisticated water culture I have ever seen, with several schools, and a parking lot off shore for residents to drive to work in the city. This is the first water culture museum I have ever seen and I spent an hour here, exploring the photos and artifacts.

It took us quite some time but thanks to the team’s efforts we managed to see the proboscis monkeys! After that we visited a water village house and tried some delicious local sweets. It was an opportunity to find out more about Brunei culture and everyday life 👍

The boat ride was very nice. Saw Proboscis, crocodile and different kinds of birds. Also you get to see how locals live along the river.
