This is a 16 person adult party bike that is completely powered by the pedaling of the riders. If you are looking for a fun and active way to explore the pubs of Grand Rapids, this is the activity for you. Tours are two hours long and are offered daily. There are a variety of times to choose from on either the Mr. or Mrs. Pub Bikes. The two bikes are exactly the same but run on different schedules.

There is no alcohol allowed on the bike. Riders can drink at the stops along the tour

The tour will operate rain or shine. Riders will be provided with ponchos in the event of rain

A liability waiver will need to be signed prior to the tour via a smart phone app called GR Pubs

All riders that start the tour must return with the bike to the original starting location

Great Lakes Pub Cruiser

What is a ‘Pub Cruiser’? It is a fun filled, 16-person party bike for riders age 21+ that is powered with pedals! 2, 2.5 and 3 hour tours are offered with stops to your favorite restaurants and pubs along the way! Enjoy the outdoors while experiencing a fun and safe event with your friends or colleagues. A minimum of 7 people is recommended to ‘pedal power’ the Pub Cruiser. A maximum of 16 guests can be included on each Pub Cruiser (no exceptions due to insurance purposes). If you have a larger party, multiple Pub Cruisers are available to rent. Each bike has 12 barstool seats: 10 of these with pedals to accommodate riders at least 5’1” tall, and 2 barstool seats that do not have pedals. There is also a stationary seat at the back that can accommodate 3 guests and 1 spot to walk on the “Catwalk” behind the driver.

My college friends and I (from 40 years ago) did the HopsCycle with Patrick. He was very friendly and fun, and pedaling was not strenuous at all (we're in our 60s). We visited 2 bars on our tour and they were both great. It was a different and fun experience, and luckily the weather was cool but comfortable. I'd recommend the HopsCycle and Patrick to anyone.

Fantastic experience! Great way to spend time with friends, see the city, visit some great local bars, and get some exercise! Our driver was a lot of fun!

Andy was our driver- i will tell you if you do not want to pedal do not book this lol. It is a WORK out and do not wear shorts or dresses lol wear spandex pants. Other than that HOLY SMOKES it was so fun. 10/10 Rec and you will want to skip your next workout because you get it in.

This was my first Pub Cruiser and I hope it's not my last! The driver was so much fun. We had a blast together. One thing that made it so enjoyable was being able to choose our own music, by hooking up to the bluetooth! We had 15 cruisers and the pedaling was not difficult. Loved it!

I booked this a while back for my best friend's bachelorette party weekend in Grand Rapids, and we selected the Northwest area for our tour. The experience was a wonderful one from start to finish! Laurie helped with picking the best route/bars to stop by. Bethany was our Pub Cruiser driver/guide and she was an absolute delight! We were a pretty wild bunch, but Bethany was so incredibly accommodating and the best possible addition to our group for the tour! She also kept us on schedule and made sure we had plenty of time at each of our stops. I highly recommend Great Lakes Pub Cruiser for any group looking to have a fun afternoon when visiting Grand Rapids!

Tim was amazing the experience was awesome and I loved every minute of it It was such a great experience. I enjoyed all of it the rides the bars, the people the scenery. It was great such a workout. If you’re gonna go experience that dress comfortably make sure you have my tennis shoes something flat to make sure that you’re able to move but other than that 10 out of 10 I do recommend

Yes the waiver is long, and there are lots of rules, but honestly they all made sense to me. There is a video you watch before hand so you don’t have to memorize the legal mumbo jumbo. If you aren’t big drinkers, you don’t have to bring too many drinks since you have to buy drinks are the bar. There is enough time to order food too! Tim was a great driver!

Had a wonderful time on this trip and it was a lot of fun! Our host Andrew was funny and awesome! I had planned this for a Bachelor party for my good friend and this turned out to be one of the most fun things we did that night!

Our driver Mary was awesome. It was such a fun girls day out activity. We went to The Woods and Peppinos as our two “pubs” and they were good too. Such a fun day out.
