You are a beginner and want to learn a little bit of riding skills here in Iceland or you are an
experienced horse rider that never tried the Tölt on an Icelandic and want a deeper insight of the
uniqueness of this gait.
You can book a private riding lesson with a specific wish what you would like to learn under the supervision of a skilled riding instructor.
(The duration on horseback is approx. 30-45 minutes. The lesson includes preparing the horse under the supervision of the riding instructor before and after the ride).

Riding Lesson With a skilled riding teacher you can learn from scratch to ride a Icelandic horse or if you are an experienced equestrian you be able to know more about the special gaits of the Vikings horses. With your inquiry of a selected date and starting time you get in contact with us. You will have the opportunity to ask for a specific wish that you want to learn. ( Are you a beginner and want to start your riding carrier and want to learn the basics or you are already a skilled rider that wants to learn more about the Tölt) You will meet your riding teacher at our stable area and together you will prepare the horse for the lesson. You will then have a 30-45 minute riding lesson. After your ride you will unsaddle the horse and bring it back to the meadow.

5.00We had an excellent experience during our private lesson with Gratina. She is clearly an experienced trainer with an excellent eye for each person's current level and areas to improve. She was able to guide us through small changes in posture and pressure that made a difference in our skills and enabled us to be able to tolt without difficulty. She is such a positive teacher. We had a fabulous experience. Hestasport is lucky to have her!
