Typically, you will visit The Bund , the colonial-era promenade along the Huangpu River. Then, follow your guide to Yu garden ( Closed on every Mondays), here you will enjoy explore the five century old garden built with charming chambers, exquisitive rockeries, ponds ,pavillions doctted in the lush greens while learning the fasinating history from your guide.

5.00Linda took me on a private full day tour of central Shanghai. She is very knowledgeable about the history and also knows the best shopping and other trendy locations youthful people would enjoy. She is a wonderful guide for tourists of all ages. Our tour highlights included a few Temples, Yu Garden, the Bund/ Huangpu river area, French Concession area for an early dinner, and sunset at the tallest building in Shanghai for 360 views. She gave me some tips on things I could do for the last day of my trip and was very kind and helpful throughout our time together! Would recommend Linda from Sunny tours to any travelers going to Shanghai. Yu Garden & City God Temple is a shopping and historical location very popular with tourists. There are a lot of vendors offering to do photo shoots of individuals in themed attire throughout the temple and garden areas. I believe Linda said the center garden location was built in the Ming dynasty. This closes at 4pm so be mindful when planning your trip. The tour company advised me of the hours to make sure I made the most out of my experience. Even if you are not interested in dressing up, there is plenty to see and do in that area. Though open during the day, the City God Temple area lights up with the rest of Shanghai at 6pm (sunset) and does not close until around 10pm. Beautiful to see!

5.00We arrived in Shanghai for the first time prior to a 21 day tour and decided before hand, it would be best to have someone show us around as we didn't speak any Mandarin, just a sprinkling of Cantonese which would not be helpful. Anne picked us up at 930am in the morning with a driver and a huge black car, we felt spoiled. Especially since we saw the driving first hand from the airport and while heading to the Bund, etc. This was the best "safe" introduction one could make while heading into a cosmopolitan city. Anne was attentive and answered all of our questions and guided us through the city and had suggestions and also asked if we had some specific wants. Lunch was included with her as was a walk along the Bund, Lu Garden was closed, but we saw the bazaar along side. We opted to pay extra to go up the 180+ story skyscraper, the 3rd largest building in the world and happy we did that. Some will hesitate to do so, but don't it is a once in a lifetime ride up a superfast elevator with a view of Shanghai for 360 degrees. Once can not appreciate the staggering amount of new buildings without this view. We are super happy to have taken a full day private tour and would do this again. One can not cover that much ground on a subway or even with a rental car. The service and knowledge provided by Anne is excellent!

5.00We had a wonderful tour with our friendly guide Robert. He showed us all the relevant viewpoints of Shanghai. He informed us about everything and could answer all our questions. He even suggested a great tour by boat during the sunset. Alltogether it was one of our best experiences ever.
