Steve was a local and very knowledgeable about the highlights of Saint John. He was quirky, slightly eccentric, and somewhat entertaining. Steve was most accommodating and helpful. We had reserved a vehicle and driver and requested a child seat well in advance and had been assured there would be one provided. Steve had to "return to the office" because he had not been told of the need. He indicated the van was not his. It was filthy, scratched, dented and the rear license plate was falling off. The child seat was dusty, dirty and took us awhile to get it clean enough for our toddler. Steve shared information about himself and his varied history, he let us know the itinerary and schedule for the day. He drove us to the Bay of Fundy where we had lunch. The chowder, shrimp and fish and chips were very good. He didn't rush us or make us uncomfortable, but many times he tried too hard to be funny and entertain us. We did a "drop in" at Moosehead Brewery, just for pictures with a mounted moose; no tour or beer included. We did appreciate the sightseeing and driving through the beautiful New Brunswick landscape.

The beat up mini van we were picked up in was a filthy taxi. The pic in the ad showed a beautiful black suv for our very expensive private tour. The driver was friendly but didn’t want to talk very much….he thought we’d enjoy quiet time. Uhhhhh, aren’t we here for a tour??? Do NOT recommend this tour.
