Your journey begins outside Backstube Opera in the city center, where you’ll meet your local guide. Together, you'll board the metro to Frognerseteren, where the adventure begins. Even before the hike starts, the breathtaking views from the subway ride up the hill will already make the trip worthwhile—be sure to capture the moments with your camera! As you hike, you’ll pass the serene Lillevann Lake, then make your way down to the charming Frognerseteren restaurant. The trail follows part of a 50-kilometer route, including a historic toboggan run from the first Luge World Championship in 1955. You’ll continue past Midtstubakken and down to the beautiful Holmenkollen Chapel. The grand finale and the highlight of this tour is without doubt the majestic Holmenkollen ski jump — one of the most famous sport arenas in the world. After taking in the awe-inspiring sights, you’ll stroll back down to the metro station and return to Jernbanetorget, where your adventure began.

5.00Did an awesome tour with Petter. He was knowledgeable, interesting, engaging and informative. Great tour for cruise passengers who need to see some nature and get away from the crowds. It’s a serene walk through the forest with some spectacular views of Oslo. Recommend going to the top of the ski jump to see the most amazing views. Caution - the walk is physically demanding and should only be done by people who can handle the 5-6 mile walk.

5.00Easy walk, access to the springboard is very pleasant, we are not disappointed on arrival! Special mention to Mustapha who knew how to enhance our walk very well and adapt to our desires! We highly recommend :)

5.00Excellent experience Mustafa is a great guide explaining many things during the walk. Adapting his rhythm to the group or the person if so needed. Talking and yet being discret if needed.

5.00Everything was perfect. The company was super helpful and adjusted the start time specially to suit us. Our guide Mustafa was a really interesting person to talk to and gave us information about the features of our walk - plants, buildings, views. The train journey up to the area is scenic, and the walk itself is easy. We had lovely weather and there were locals roller-skiing and hiking everywhere - we felt like we were doing what local people would do on a Sunday morning.
