What a fantastic informative tour. John, our guide, was well informed and passed the information about the course and the many buildings history on so effortlessly. We, as a golfer and non golfer, found the tour very enjoyable. Highly recommend to others.

My husband and friends are golfers and absolutely loved the tour although I am not a golfer I found the tour very interesting. Shelia was very knowledgeable about golf and the history and also the role women played in golf. Really a highlight tour for us.

Andrew Turnbull was excellent! He was very informative and took his time walking us through the course as it was Sunday. His knowledge was extensive. As we were the only people in the group he drove us to the train station. Very much appreciated.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the course, the game and history of golf and the surrounding area. The tour was personalized based on our inquiries and interests. Our guide gave us some great suggestions for our remaining time in St. Andrews. Well worth the cost — my husband’s favorite day of our trip so far!

John was fantastic. He squeezed more into our short time than we could’ve ever hoped for! Communication was great and I couldn’t give a higher recommendation!

We had so much fun on this tour! My dad is a big golfer and loved learning about the history and walking the grounds. The guide was knowledgeable and made this experience fun for golfers and non-golfers!

We were surprised that we were able to walk this tour on the course! Our guide John was outstanding. As a local who has played the course many times, he shared entertaining and insightful stories that blended St Andrews’ history with modern golf. Knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate—he truly brought the “Home of Golf” to life.

We truly enjoyed our private Old Course tour. Sheila was such a terrific guide, funny and knowledgeable, that she kept our attention the whole time (and one of us is not even a golfer)! We were lucky that a major golf tournament was beginning a couple of days after we had our tour planned, and we were able to see some of the early arriving golf pros during their practice before the tournament began on Thursday. It is an easy walk, and a beautiful location to see on foot. And it has such a long, important history to the game of golf. We will certainly recommend the company, especially Sheila to any friends or relatives heading to that area!
