A full day of touring the ancient ruins of Angkor beginning at dawn, which covers all of the must-see temples Such as Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Phrom and Baphoun. You will also have an opportunity to visit a small, peaceful, unrestored temple (Tanei) in the middle of the Jungle. This tour takes between 6-10hrs depending on your pace and interests. Our experienced guides are skilled at avoiding the crowds.
This tour takes you through different types of temples, from the relatively intact, well-preserved Angkor Wat, Bayon and Angkor Thom to the untouched jungle temples of Ta Phrom and Tanei.

We will start the tour in the early morning to experience sunrise tour at Angkor Wat temple. It is a unique experience which is worth it.
Angkor Thom
Angkor Thom is one of the most charming capital city of khmer empire. This great city has contained many temples inside its own wall such as Bayon, Phimeanakas, Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Prah Palilay, Tem Pranam and Prasat Suor Prat.

5.00On the tour was myself, my husband, and his parents. We all highly recommend the sunrise tour as the heat of the day sets in quickly. A significant number of people gathered at the entrance of Angkor Wat before first light but there was an effort amongst the crowd to whisper, super lovely experience. Our guide, Sopheara, seemed to have information on every single stone and carving. I fear my family disappointed him by declining to pose for photos together a lot of the time (none of us like being photographed that much). Our guide knew all the right photo locations and angles- his photography skills were much better than any of ours so book him if that's important to you! Also worth mentioning: our guide was very good-looking, book him if you're shallow like me! After Angkor Wat, we visited three other sparsely populated temples (Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, and Ta Prohm). Sopheara knew when the off-peak hours were for these temples so they wouldn't be too crowded. He seemed to have boundless energy and would have taken us to many more sights if my party had the stamina. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant around midday. Cold bottled water was always offered to us by our chauffeur and there was never a bathroom too far away (bring your own toilet paper/ tissues). We learned so so much about the sights we visited, their construction, symbolism, the complexities btw hinduism and buddhism, the impact of modern politics on Cambodia, its people, and the restoration of these temples. Our tour guide struck me as a spiritually observant man with a great sense of national pride. I bring my critical lens with me on any guided tour and it was compelling to hear parallels drawn btw ancient history and modern/ contemporary political and economic turmoil. I feel like i got an education that day, which i deeply appreciate since I had known next to nothing about Cambodia or these two major world religions.

5.00We booked multiple tours with Affinity Angkor on our visit to Siem Reap and were incredibly lucky to have Sopheara as our magnificent tour guide. We first did the sunrise tour at Angkor Wat. It was so special breathtaking and majestic, we were able to take it in and get plenty of photos without running into all the crowds. Sopheara gave us in-depth history of the temples, the religious and policial significance. We chanted in the echo chamber and had a blessing by a monk. We later went to Angkor Tom and Ta Prohm, learning more about the history, the kings and their families. We also ate at a local food stall, fresh and absolutely delicious! We booked a second tour at the floating village Kampong Phluk, starting at the market trying local fruits and treats. We toured the river, making stops and had an unforgettably peaceful boat ride in the mangroves by a local woman. We walked in the village. Sopheara brought us to a temple, and later we talked with woman and children and shared a local treat of Yam chips. All staff at Affinity Angkor were so kind and accommodating, the drivers were great and we couldn’t have asked more with Sopheara. I would highly recommend this company for an unforgettable experience in Cambodia.

5.00We did two tours with Affinity Angkor on our visit to Siem Reap. Our first one was the sunrise temple tour and a couple of days later we did a tour to see the floating villages. I can’t say enough about our guide Sopheara. He was so friendly and really knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the temples and Cambodian culture. Major added bonus was that it was like we also had a personal photographer on the tour with us. He knew all the spots and angles to get the best photos and knew how to use my iPhone camera a lot better than I do myself. We have some of the most amazing photos at the temples to treasure for a lifetime. I still can’t believe it when I’m looking through them. We had a different driver each tour and they were so kind and friendly too. Can’t recommend this tour company enough!

5.00If you are visiting Siem Reap, you need to take this tour! Sopheara was our guide and couldn't have been more perfect. It's an early day, but you get to see the entire site with virtually no other people around! (And a SUNRISE you'll remember forever, if the weather cooperates!) His passion showed throughout the entire day and all the massive sites and side excursion/stops he took us through. Having the car with water and cool towels were the perfect refresh between each stop. We added a stop to the floating village which rounded out the full day perfectly. What a team! What an organization! Wish they could take me everywhere in SE Asia!

5.00I booked Affinity at the suggestion of a friend of mine who is from Cambodia. I had Mr. Kim as my guide and he was very kind the whole time and had a wealth of knowledge to share. Having an air conditioned van stocked with water and cold towels was definitely a plus. I highly recommend using Affinity Angkor.

5.00We did a private tour with our guide Sopheara Pheav. He took us to Angkor Wat for the sunrise, then to Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm Temple. In the afternoon we went to Kampong Pluk, the floating village. We had a fabulous day. Sopheara's passion for his country & its' history was obvious, he was fantastic. A special shout out to our driver Mr Long. Every time we returned to the van he had cold water & hand towels ready for us to help us cool down.

5.00An extremely beautiful, thoughtful and informative tour of various Siem Reap ancient sites. Our guide, Kim and driver, Lung, were professional, kind and enthusiastic making it a memorable and fun way to bring in the new year. Travelling with our older parents was also made very easy and trouble free thanks to the kindness of Kim and Lung. Also, Kim’s knowledge of the sites and overall history of Cambodia, and both Hinduism and Buddhism, are super impressive and help bring context to everything you see and experience throughout the day. A must do if you’re visiting this beautifully country!
