After picking you up around 13:30, the journey to the desert takes us through the Dhofar mountains, home to diverse flora and fauna. We'll stop to take photos along the way.
We pass by the town of Thumrait, which historically served as a crucial point along the Arabian caravan routes. We drive for approximately 30 minutes until we reach our first stop, a camel farm to learn about the significance of camels to the Omani people and discover the different types, including the unique black camels found in Oman. We spend about 30 minutes here

5.00This was a very interesting tour package. We explored different sides of Salalah, we booked desert tour, East Salalah tour, and hiking tour. Our guide Ali had fluent English, he was always smiling, patient, explaining about his country with love and passion. He was a local man from Salalah and was able to tell us a lot of information about local customs and history. The perfect man for this job. Customer Service from day one was with us through what’s app making sure about the pick up time, asking about feedback after each tour. Sure, we will come again and book with Go Safari Salalah tours.

5.00We were a group of 6 women and we didn’t know which hotel or tours to book but Salma helped us from the very first day one we contacted them and made everything easy for us. Our stay was in Rotana and sure I will recommend this resort to everyone. We enjoyed 3 days of adventure in Salalah including East Salalah Tour, West Salalah Tour and hiking Tour. All 3 tours were truly unforgettable nature experience, especially the swimming in Ayn Gheid. The guide Said was very loverly and informative person. Our driver, Abullah, was very professional. Thank you again to the Go Safari Salalah Tours team for such an amazing experience!

5.00A fantastic experience, it was all beautiful! Mohamed, our guide, took us to see wonderful places, told us so many interesting things and was very attentive to everything towards us! Beautiful sunset in the desert, on the dunes, a wonderful place full of charm. And the night spent in the field at the edge of the dunes, just as spectacular and suggestive! Truly a magical, unforgettable experience, we will take with us all the moments and especially the kindness, tranquility and precision of Mohamed!

5.00Had the best day. I live in the UAE & have been to the desert a few times before but the Empty Quarter was by far the best experience I’ve had. The sunset view is second to none. Firstly, Ali, my driver is the absolute best. So friendly and helpful. He also took loads of good photos. Beyond that, he’s a great driver, especially on the sand dunes and through the desert. We visited a few spots on the way there. Saw some frankincense trees etc. Was out from around 2pm to 9pm. Will remember the experience forever.
When the guide puts his heart into what he does, your vacay becomes the picture in which you not want to change anything

5.00I went to Salalah thinking about tranquility. This time I wanted a different vacation, free of noisy trips and at very early hours in the morning. I was looking for a different country, less commercial, more authentic in traditions. I had found out that Oman would be a beautiful country worth seeing. The experience is one to which I can give a maximum score after seeing and traveling through many countries. Salalah is a special place from gorgeous natural landscapes to people. The culture, nature, food and local traditions are the magical part of the trip. The people are polite, extraordinarily respectful, welcoming, smiling and 100% authentic. The services are of quality. Here, in a circumstance arising from a feeling, I met Ali Al Shahri, who was our guide at the beginning, and today I can consider him a friend. Ali is the guide who knows and understands everything . He is that man who enters in your soul and there he remains as the most beautiful memory among memories. His calmness, the positive energy he exudes, the way he transforms from a guide into that storyteller with a talent as a teacher, who makes you always listen to the story until the end or turns into the most caring friend. I've never heard another guide tell me so many times to be careful or spoil me so much. A punctual, empathetic, balanced, intelligent, clean and beautiful man both at the port and at the soul. Patient when someone like me asks questions every 2 minutes The most generous guide of all guides on the planet and also the funniest. Ali is special as the place where he comes from and understands that his tour company must offer quality services such as: flexibility, friendly prices, dynamism, comfort, safety, punctuality, but above all, he offers friendship, he offers closeness, he offers time, sometimes even from his private time.
