Welcome to Costa. Surf! I’m Jason from the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. Join me for an authentic surf experience in Tamarindo and secret local spots. All levels welcome—beginner to advanced.

5.00Jason is a great instructor and his love of surfing makes the experience even better. His Love, Energy and Passion for surfing is motivating and infectious. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn to surf in an authentic surfing experience. Pura Vida. 🏄♂️

5.00Jason is a fantastic teacher and his passion for the sea and surfing is contagious! He is an expert in reading and riding the sea. We felt so blessed to learn from him and learn how to embrace, not resist the ocean. Under his guidance, my 78 year-old father was able to ride the waves four times all the way to the beach, on his very first surfing class! I highly recommend Jason to anyone who wishes to learn surfing the real tico way :)

5.00Exceeded expectations, the BEST place to book your surfing lessons! David was a pro at teaching our group of 10-21 yr olds and gave us a wonderful personalized experience. He determined the time and place based on weather conditions and very generously spent a lot of extra time with us getting to a beautiful less crowded beach, giving us a relaxed experience. Everything was included: surf boards, wet suits, etc. and all 4 participating caught many waves! We felt like we were with a knowledgeable surfer friend vs a corporation churning groups. We also enjoyed the most delicious pineapple we’ve ever had! Muchas gracias, David. Book with him, you won’t regret it!

I decided to join a private class with Jason and in 2 intensive hours he has been able to transmit technique, motivation, and sensitivity to know the sea and the waves, noting clear advances from the first to the last wave. Best of all, you will be infected by his beautiful way of living surfing, I invite you to discover it for yourself@

5.00Jason was an excellent surfing instructor for beginners. He explained complex techniques in a simple, easy-to-understand way and helped me gain confidence right from the start. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to catch so many waves on my very first sessions. He’s incredibly skilled, professional, and brings such positive, encouraging energy to every lesson. If you’re a new surfer looking for someone who makes learning feel effortless and exciting, Jason is absolutely the instructor you want!!!

5.00We went as a group and the instruction was great. He took his time with us and made sure that, even though there were four of us, we each received individual instruction. Would definitely book with him again if/when I find myself back in Costa Rica. Pura vida!!

5.00Great surfing lessons and instruction, has great tips and small adjustments which were really helpful and is super nice to interact with. Go for it if you are in Tamarindo.
