Please look for your guide in front of the Gate of Beijing Railway Museum. In Beijing, taking a taxi is not the best option. Taking the subway is a faster and more reliable way to get around. The Beijing Railway Museum is located next to the E2 exit of the Qianmen subway station.
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
The tour guide will lead you to enter Tiananmen Square through the designated entrance. Tian'anmen Square is the largest square in the world. The guide will give you an introduction. In summer, be sure to take measures to protect yourself from the sun.

5.00The weather in Beijing was very hot, but this time, with Jane's guidance, we had a great experience. She showed us the 600-year-old buildings and the royal furniture that had been around for hundreds of years. She also told us the stories that took place inside the Forbidden City. She has a wealth of historical knowledge, and this was a wonderful trip that was definitely worth it.

5.00My friend and I did the tour of the Forbidden City last Friday, we met at Donghuamen at 1PM. Our guide Jane was fantastic! She really knew her stuff and kept us on schedule while showing us everything important. Plus she was pretty funny! The tour company was great too, they sent clear instructions about where and when to meet beforehand. And of course, the Forbidden City itself was absolutely breathtaking. We had an amazing time and would definitely tell others to take this tour!

5.00Fair warning - you'll do tons of walking and it's crazy crowded! To see everything in just 4 hours, you'll basically be speed-walking the whole time with the guide keeping up a fast pace. That said, the tour was really cool and super interesting - just be ready for a workout! Definitely ask for Jane as your guide if you can. She's super sweet - made the whole experience way more fun.
On the hottest days, visit the beautiful Forbidden City.

5.00Jane is an excellent tour guide and she has a deep understanding of Chinese history. She even recommended some restaurants for us to visit after the tour. Today was a very hot day, with the temperature reaching as high as 40 degrees Celsius. We spent most of the time walking outside, but some exhibition halls inside were quite cool, with furniture and ceramics. It was really hot outside. Jane reminded us to drink plenty of water. She was very attentive and was an excellent tour guide.

5.00Joe is an awesome guide, very knowledgeable and personable. He made the trip relaxing and exciting, surprise at every turn. Never knew there are so many interesting facts and stories about the forbidden city! The hill right outside the exit have the best sunset view, really give you a new perspective on just how grand this ancient city is. Highly recommended to check it out at the end of the tour. 10/10 would do this again, very satisfied, much wow. Thx again Joe, great tour, awesome guide, splendid experience!

5.00Our Trip to the Forbidden City, Beijing was truly an amazing and unforgettable experience for us. We had a wonderful photography session dressed in beautiful traditional dynasty costumes, surrounded by breathtaking scenery that made the moments even more magical. We are especially grateful to our friendly and helpful tour assistant, Jane. She did a fantastic job guiding us through the must-see sights while helping us avoid long queues and crowded areas. 5.00Jane was a fantastic tour guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and fluent in English. She seemed to know the story behind every artifact in the Forbidden City, making history feel vivid and alive. Her explanations were clear and full of interesting details that we would have easily missed on our own. She took us to many fascinating areas, but what impressed me the most were the emperor’s exquisitely crafted furniture and the serene residence of the empress dowager. Standing in those spaces really gave us a sense of the imperial lifestyle. It was a bit of a pity that most other sections could only be viewed from a distance, but Jane helped make even those parts feel meaningful through her vivid storytelling. Overall, it was a deeply enriching and unforgettable experience.
