What sets our tour apart is the unique opportunity to experience the authentic process of coffee production from seed to cup. Unlike other tours, we focus on visiting an organic coffee farm in San Agustín, renowned for producing one of the best specialty coffees in Colombia. The owners of Finca La Cabaña carry a rich family legacy in coffee cultivation spanning over 50 years. Their pride and humility in showcasing their work and his grandparents expertise create a genuine and immersive experience for our guests. Moreover, at the end of the tour, we indulge in the sensory delight of tasting Luis's exceptional specialty coffees, allowing participants to fully appreciate the flavors and aromas that make San Agustín's coffee unique.

Coffee is an essential product for both the economy of San Agustín and for other towns in this region, where the best specialty coffees in Colombia are currently produced. On this tour, we will be able to visit an organic coffee farm where we can learn about the bean production process in a very authentic way, from the seed and sowing, until obtaining the final product. Our guide will be Luis Alejandro or his sons, owners of Finca La Cabaña, who proudly and humbly show us the success of their work and that of their grandpartents, who began growing coffee here over more than 50 years ago. At the end of the tour, the family will invite us to enjoy some of his fantastic specialty coffees with all our senses.

5.00Michael at Chaska tours put together a great itinerary for us and within my budget.. I had never been to Colombia and there is no way I would have been able to organize a trip like this. We had several private tours and guides were all great - enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very good English communication skills. All of the drivers were on time and friendly. When mud slides closed one of the roads Michael quickly made alternative arrangements including a drive through the mountains in a 4 wheel drive vehicle that turned out to be some of the best scenery of the trip.

5.00This was a fascinating experience and the owner is very kind and interesting. The place is beautiful. They are an eco conscious coffee farm and really care about the environnement and their product. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00My visit to the coffee farm of Luis Alejandro and his family was simply impressive! The passion and dedication for growing coffee was palpable, and the private tour gave us fascinating insights into sustainable practices. Luis Alejandro patiently took the time to explain the entire process of growing coffee from seed to cup of coffee and showed us everything up close. The hospitality of the staff rounded off the experience. The highlight was the three delicious types of coffee that we were able to try - a personal touch that made this tour unforgettable. In addition, Luis Alejandro explained to us in detail the different types of coffee beans and their origins. An absolute recommendation for anyone looking for an authentic and educational coffee experience in Colombia!

5.00The coffee tour was unique. You can see that Luis Alejandro really knows his craft and told us everything about his organic coffee farm with a lot of patience and dedication. I learned a lot on the tour and he had an answer to every question I had. The coffee tasted excellent, we were able to try a total of three different types of coffee that Luis Alejandro prepared with love. Thank you for the great experience!!

Luis Alejandro took a lot of time to explain everything to us in detail. The hospitality of the staff made the visit even more enjoyable. The insights into coffee growing and sustainable practices broadened my horizons. The opportunity to taste three different types of coffee was particularly impressive. 5.00I have visited several coffee farms in my life, but the farm of Luis Alejandro and his family was the best experience so far. It is a small local family business that focuses on growing high-quality and organic coffee. You can taste different types of coffee and see the entire process from planting to roasting. It is very authentic and hardly touristy. Really a special experience and absolutely recommended if you are in Colombia.
