Batu Caves

The magnificent Batu Caves are one of the top tourist attractions in Malaysia. this 100-year-old temple features idols and statues erected inside the main caves and around it. Incorporated with interior limestone formations said to be around 400 million years old, the temple is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus.

Very prompt pickup with good driver avoiding heavy traffic! Explained along the way with clear English about the various parts of the city! Petronas towers were closed to private event so went to Kuala Lampur tower instead! Batu caves were colorful with 272 steps, so for some it might be too many!? Gave extra directions to local sights that I can do later. Very informative!

To being my first trip to Kuala Lumpur I needed to get my bearings and oriented and learned as much as I could. A friend suggested taking a tour, but not on a bus with 50 other people but a private tour I follow that advice and I’m so glad I did. Not only did I see all the sites I hope to see I saw a lot I never was aware of and I am so grateful. My guide Louis has over 25 years of experience here in Kuala Lumpur. He navigates the city and seems to know almost everybody in town. That’s the kind of guide you want. I highly recommend when exploring a new city to get oriented. Find your bearings and hire a professional guide like Louis. You’ll save a lot of time and money with a private tour. I highly recommend this one!

We had an excellent trip with lots of stops and plenty of time to see what we wanted. Our guide Mr Ram was very knowledgeable and a lovely kind, caring and considerate man. Overall a great trip when you have just one day to see as much as possible and everything was organised so well, the car was comfortable and cool and water provided. Definitely recommended!

We really enjoyed our private tour today. Our guide, Prasan, explained everything clearly and shared interesting local insights that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. He was punctual, courteous, and navigated the city smoothly. It was a great balance of structure and flexibility. The overall experience was very comfortable and well organised, and we got to see a good number of attractions around the city. If your time is limited, this is a very efficient way of visiting multiple sites without feeling stressed or rushed. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur.

It is interesting to have transportation to visit places that are widely scattered around the city and enjoy the explanations of an expert guide who reports on the history of these places and the organization of the country.

We had an excellent river and tour guide. His name was Satish Kumaran. He took us to so many places and gave us time to explore each place on our own. The Batu Cave and Petrinas Towers were amazing! He shared so much information about everything along our day. Little extras, he had umbrellas for us when it started to rain and scarves for us to use to clean over our knees to go in the temples in the cave. It was an amazing day!
