Batu Caves

The magnificent Batu Caves are one of the top tourist attractions in Malaysia. this 100-year-old temple features idols and statues erected inside the main caves and around it. Incorporated with interior limestone formations said to be around 400 million years old, the temple is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus.

    The places visited were really nice! So definitely take this tour as the itinerary covered so many great places. One thing to be aware of is the guide/driver does not go into any of the places with you to give history/persepective. He stays with the car. That is not "bad", just know that is how the tour is set up. What we were surprised by is our guide asking if we wanted to skip one of the steps of the tour - the Orkid garden. When we said we wanted to go to everything on the itinerary, he made comments that everyone skips the garden. We said we wanted to see it. Later, when we got to the Petronis Twin Towers (our last stop), he asked if we wanted him to stay/wait to take us back to our hotel or if we wanted to find our own way back. That also seemed odd, as this was a private tour to/from our hotel. We asked him to wait. He was okay with that - but without any context behind the question - it seemed odd that the question was asked. Also, as this is an 8 hour tour, if you stop for lunch, then the trade off is skipping part of the itinerary.

    Its a scam of tour... i did hundred of tours with Viator ... this one was the worse. - Driver was a smoker, the car smelled every time he went back in. -Driver miss 3 stops, forst stop he said Mosque was closed and when we checked it was open from 3pm on... it should arrange it .. Nwver took us to Botanical garden, driver said its too big....Did not take is to central marker because it was to close to tickets time for the Patrons Tower... so we had no change to go after because time of tour was over. Its not a private tour... its a taxi tour... He would not follow you, but give direction from the car where to go and what to see.... No water in the car with temperature over 90s... Driver Jacob was driving like Montecarlo rally... i had to tell him that this way to drive was not acceptable.... Be aware...

    Amazing tour and explanation from Ayyanar. He takes a lot of attention to every detail. Would recommend 100% taking the tour with him. Also, he was very punctual and at our service every time needed.

    We had a great extend Ayyanar was a fantastic guide. He was more like a family member who went out of his way to make sure we stay on time to cover all the attractions pointed out the historical details of all. I would come back to this wonderful city of KL and seek him out again to guide us to other areas that we missed out on this time.
