After learning about history,enjoy the native delicacies for your buffet lunch while cruising and being serenaded on a floating restaurant along Loboc River. Now, test your courage at the bamboo hanging bridge in Sevilla. Hold on tight!
From there, enjoy the cold breeze while walking along the Manmade Forest.
Now it’s time to meet the adorable and bug-eyed creatures at the Tarsier Conservation Park. These primates are nocturnal so they are sleeping while you’re going around their home. If you’re lucky, you can catch a glimpse of them with their eyes wide open.
Finally,take in all the beauty of Bohol with the spectacular views of the Chocolate Hills at sunset.

Blood Compact Monument
One can experience the culture of a place by revisiting its history. For the first part of this cultural countryside tour, you will be visiting the Blood Compact Site at Baclayon, Bohol. This is a historical landmark that represents the blood compact agreement or the “sandugo” in local language, between Rajah Sikatuna of Bohol and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi of Spain.

2.00I’m giving at least 2 points for the excellent communication prior to the tour. Why did we decide to cancel the tour? - Although it was a private tour, the guide did not show up – only the driver, who was supposed to be the guide as well. However, he did not bother to get out of the car and find his clients at the reception: we had to find him ourselves. - In email communication, we had agreed on a cultural tour around the island, which we also paid for, and the travel agency knew there were two of us. However, they sent a van meant for a small group. It was absolutely uncomfortable. But not only that – there was so little legroom that we simply COULD NOT SIT properly. We would have had to sit sideways, leaning against the glass, with our legs stretched forward on the seat, which would have ruined our spines during a full-day ride. - However, it didn’t end there. Fake politeness radiated from our driver for miles, yet it was clear how annoyed he actually was. - We still wanted to go over the itinerary, and in communicating with the driver, we discovered that the travel agency hadn’t given him any information at all about what exactly we wanted to see. Although the agency had promised us flexibility in their email, on site it was different. Specifically, we wanted to make a quick stop for a swim at the beach at the end of the tour. Despite the originally promised flexibility, the agency refused this when exchanging the emails in the morning. - That was a bit too much for us, so we canceled the tour. In the evening, we sent the agency an official complaint. They responded very quickly, saying they would try to at least provide a partial refund. We thanked them, but even after following up twice, we are still waiting for the partial refund. - Good point: We very quickly found a taxi with an excellent driver, who showed us everything for a fraction of the price we had paid the agency in advance. Including the stop for a swim, so we are leaving Bohol very satisfied. The island is beautiful; you just have to find the right people.

5.00Very good tour for families. Our driver (Wilfredo) was very accommodating and friendly. The only issue we had was the condition of the side by sides (double cab) during the ATV ride. Staff was friendly and fun but equipment was older and seats needed cushions. Everything else about the tour was great. It was very convenient not to have to wait in line for anything and be guided straight into each area. Family had a good time.

5.00We had a wonderful time. It was our first visit to Bohol so we did not know what to expect. Our driver Charles was on time and the vehicle was comfortable. This was a lovely time of year because the weather was cool and breezy. There are 276 stairs at the chocolate hills so be advised it’s a healthy climb, also the hills are not chocolate during this time of year but lovely non the less. The Tarsiers were amazing little creatures and we loved seeing them with their eyes opened. The Riverboat cruise was such a treat. The food was excellent and the crew was most accommodating. There was also a show of traditional Filipino dance and a group of singers on board. We would highly recommend it.

3.00The day was interesting overall. The entire description was completely different. We were at the hills right at the beginning. The sunset would have been nice, but what the heck. The church was unfortunately closed. Nobody can do anything about that when it comes to renovations, but it would have been nice if the organizer had informed us in advance. We didn't go to Seville or the suspension bridge and it wasn't on the driver's plan. I wouldn't book through TripAdvisor again. Unfortunately, something like that happened to us on 2 out of 3 excursions this holiday. As nice as the people (guide/driver) are, it's annoying in the end.

5.00This was a great tour - we had a wonderful time! Everything exceeded our expectations. The lunch on the boat was wonderful. Shoutout to our guide, Louie, who was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond! Definitely recommend this tour!

4.00It was really good that the agency provided a private car for the 2 of us with direct pickup at the resort. We toured the monument and church in the morning, and we quite like the butterfly farm. The lunch on the floating restaurant is actually the highlight of the trip and we absolutely enjoyed the lunch with the fabulous view of the river. After lunch, we took a few pictures at the Manmade Forest and visited the Tarsier Conservation Area. The tarsiers are mostly sleeping and you may want to tip the staff there to get closeup pictures of them. We went to the Chocolate Hills in the late afternoon which was crowded with people as there was only one viewing platform. The view was quite nice though. Overall speaking the driver cum tour guide was nice and friendly, and we visited most of the tourist spots on Bohol Island. Would be nice if the tour can include other less-visited spots like Firefly caves.
