The Ganga Aarti at Varanasi is an uplifting spiritualritual. The Aarti ceremony is organised program to thank to Ganges for divine character of river. It takes place near the Ganges River. It is evening tour.
2nd day
Boating down the Ganges River during sunrise one of the main attractions in Varanasi.
Start your day with a morning boat ride at dawn.where we can see life and death together.After the boat ride, take a small walk in to the oldest part of Varanasi where is famous for its narrow streets. Stop by the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, also known as Golden Temple, and see the outside of the beautiful temple. Only in Monsoon , sometimes The River Ganges gets badly flooded, in that special case officially boat rides are prohibited and Boat tours can not be made.
After breakfast
Sarnath is also a great attraction of this tour as well. Later silk weaving center also can be seen.

Dasaswamedh Ghat
Evening ceremony which is known and called as Arati. Hindu way of worship, which is basically an event organized every day to give thanks to river Ganges. Normally Hindu worship is done privately, but this worship [aarti] ceremony is done on the riverbank of Ganges openly and publicly. It is only of its kind, therefore attracts thousands of people daily to witness it. This Hindu ritual of saying thanks is very unique and surreal. It started a few years ago but making its importance rapidly to the world. Almost 90 percent of the tourists who comes to Varanasi attend this prayer ceremony for sure. This grand event start time depends on sunset and therefore vary month to month. It goes for 45 minutes and is very engaging.

It includes two crematoriums (Burning Ghats) , bathing and rituals, After boat ride tourists will be taken to walk showing them heritage sites of City including street life, lanes, alleys Golden temple, mosque and bazar / Breakfast/ After breakfast Sarnath will be shown to tourists.Sarnath is a Buddhist pilgrim spot located near Varanasi. The city is famous for being the first place where Lord Buddha preached for the first time after gaining enlightenment. Attractions of Sarnath are stupas, Ashokan piller, lion capital, archeological site and archeological museum. Varanasi is also a great centre of silk weaving. Silk weaving is a manufacturing industry in Varanasi. Varanasi is known throughout India for its production of very fine silk and Banarasi saris. Weaving is typically done within the household. Sightseeing of silk weaving can be shown if travellers wish.

5.00We had a wonderful tour with Vimal. His driver picked us up from the airport and took us to our hotel before beginning with the evening trip to the Ganges, which was spectacular. Next day we had a sunrise trip and boat tour, plus a walk through the city. We then visited Sarnath and some shops. Vimal was amazingly informative and conveyed so much knowledge. I don’t think we could have had such an amazing trip to Varanasi without him!

5.00I would wholeheartedly recommend My Tour Guide Varanashi (Vimal Pathak)!! We used him for our trip to Varanashi, Prayagraj and Ayodhya in Jan 2025 and everything was just perfect!! As soon as I reached out to them for initial query, Vimalji reached me back with details and customized it per our needs. While arranging the tour, I discovered that Varanashi trip operators/managers are still not that tourist friendly/responsive as compared to other more travelled Indian Destinations like Rajasthan or Kerala. However, one only needs one good tour operator and Vimalji was the one. He gave a straightforward fixed price that included car, driver, guide service in all three cities for 6 day custom journey and did not even demand any particular amount of deposit but left to me to decide which showed the trust. In Varanashi, he himself acted as guide for first two days and explained all historical significance of the city, took us to Kal Bhairav and Kashi Vishwanath temple, pulled his strings to get us in quickly, arranged for Rudrabhishek etc. He also took us to some famous places for enjoying delicious chats and other specialties that we foodies loved. In evening, he took us for Ganga Aarti and arranged special seating which was just perfect to experience the splendid event. He was very timely, polite, and flexible and did not push any particular places (as many other do to get commissions). He also arranged guides in other two cities - Prayagraj and Ayodhya who also turned out to be excellent guides. I would certainly use his services again and overall experience included everything that a well-heeled customer is looking for. Har Har Mahadev!!

5.00My partner and I did a private tour of Varanasi with Mr.Vinit, we are so glad we did! He was very knowledgeable of the history of the city, the culture and customs, the philosophy and traditions behind it and its streets and foods. His english was great (he can also speak Spanish) and his explanations were thorough. We were very curious and there was no silly question he wouldn't answer. When we mentioned that we were hungry, he even took us to eat some snacks typical from Varanasi from good hygienic places. We can highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in culture, philosophy and architecture, we were delighted with Mr.Vinit's expertise. Finally, communication with Mr.Vimal (who arranged the tour) was easy and straightforward, we patiently helped us arrange a time that suits our schedule.

5.00My elderly parents and I had a great trip to Varanasi courtesy Mr.Vimal Pathak. He seamlessly planned the itinerary end to end keeping in mind my parents age and interests. He allocated Mr.Arvind as our Tour Manager who went above and beyond to ensure my parents have a comfortable Darshan of the temples and experience the ghaats and culture of Bangalore! We had such a peace of mind only because we availed of his services from Car, Tour, main attractions and coordinating with Panditji etc. Would highly recommend My Tour Guide Varanasi and Mr Vimal’s Tour planning and guidance 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

5.00We booked our private tour with Vimal from Germany and after 3 full days we are completely satisfied. Everything went perfectly and our guide Mukund Lal looked after us very well and, in addition to the tours, also introduced us to the customs and customs of Varanasi. A unique experience. We can highly recommend Vimal as an organizer for Varanasi. Our special thanks go to Mukund Lal, who left none of our questions unanswered due to his excellent knowledge of German. Mukund also lives right in the old town and knows his way around very well. All in all, definitely recommended!!!
