Charming town designed by Sir Oliver William Petty who was granted this area as a part of payment for mapping of Ireland. He laid out a modern town in 1670. Now Kenmare town is visited by many people because it's beauty.

5.00A fun & educational day. Piotr, our guide, is an excellent host, and keenly interested in local history. He customized the tour based on our interests, and delivered a very special experience including our visit to Valencia Island and Daniel O’Connel’s home town, the drive through the Ballaghbeama Gap, and a day free of tour buses and usual stops & crowds. Well worth the higher price.

5.00Well worth it. Loved being able to plan the trip along with the driver. Peter took us on a great tour of the area and his knowledge was the best. Would definitely do it again.
