Our provate guide Oussama picked us up near the cruise port in a very clean car with good AC. We toured Sidi Bou Said and ate lunch there in an excellent local restaurant and then hit all of the major sights for Carthage. The guide gave us options on what sights to see, but gave us recommendations and we were happy with the itinerary. He told us about many places as we shuttled between the sights and told us a lot about the history of Tunis and Tunisia. Overall this was a great tour for us.

My sister and I spent a wonderful day with our excellent guide Oussama. We saw and learned a lot – this tour was a perfect overview of Cartaghe, Sidi Bou Said and Tunis. Oussama made our day special as he showed us many places, his knowledge of history and the present day was outstanding. He had answers to any questions we asked, even curious and funny ones. Shout out to our guide, Atef! He was engaging and helped us learn about the area and culture. The Bardo Museum is a must see. We should have done a little research before we arrived but a museum worker helped us throughout our visit so we didn’t miss a thing. We visited three sites of Carthage and drove by several more. Again, reading up on the sites ahead of time would have been helpful to really understand what we were seeing. Next, the Blue and White city, with its markets, was fun to experience. Finally, Atef suggested a restaurant where we had a wonderful meal with Tunisian specialties.

Had a great tour with Oussama today. With so much to see the 6 hour tour went fast but we felt like we got a good taste of Tunis, sidi bou said, Carthage, Medina, and the surrounding area. Oussama answered all our questions and treated us great. A great tour.

The driver arrived on time and spoke excellent English. The tour was excellent, he drove me to the sights and I could decide how long to spend in each. The restaurant he recommended for lunch had excellent food. Overall it was an excellent day.
