  Jon was such an amazing tour guide. We went as a family of 7. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, went above and beyond, and was really attentive to our needs. All of the sites were beautiful. Highly recommend.

  Highly recommend!! They were very responsive and easy to work with. Our tour guide, Jon Frosti was the perfect guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and took us to great places all over the area.

  My husband and I had a truly perfect day and guide for our tour of the 'Iceland's South Coast and the Zodiac boat excursion on the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon' with BR Tours. It was wonderful. I found BR Tours on Tripadvisor and contacted Jon via email. He immediately responded and answered all my questions, plus provided recommendations. He only required a modest deposit and booked our requested date followed by an email confirmation. Arni G was our guide and driver for the day. He was very likable, personable, and had a wealth of knowledge, (just a great guy!). We never felt rushed and saw everything we'd hoped to see and experience. The vehicle was a new VW Van that was first rate and very clean. BR Tours is of course more expensive than booking with a Tour Bus company and being with 65 other people, but we believed that having a private tour for a once in a lifetime experience was worth every penny. • Excellent Guide and favorite tour in Iceland

  Sigfus "Siggy" was an excellent guide and driver. We took this tour after our cruise ended and Siggy had a great itinerary lined up for us. He was also very flexible when our younger kids were not quite up for a hike or stop. We had several tours during our time in Iceland and found to be the most insightful about life in Iceland.

  This was an outstanding tour. Everything was a smooth process from the time of booking on viator to the company confirming pick up with us when we exited the cruise ship. Our guide spent so much time with us making sure we were able to see everything we could in one day. He did not pressure us on time and was so nice. Iceland is beautiful and we will be back and use this company again! Highly recommend!

  Jon at BR Tours was so much better than those crowded busses, the van he took my family of 8 in had plenty of room, and he customized our south coast tour to spend time visiting the best sites that we wanted to see, and he knows how to beat most of the big crowds and plan your trip for the best experience.

• Incredible Private Tour Experience for a Larger Group

  To avoid summer crowds and the coach buses our cruise was loading up, our group of 9 chose the South Coast private tour and it was AMAZING!!! Siggi was our driver and escorted us through an incredible itinerary of waterfalls, lush landscapes, and the beautiful basalt black sand beaches. We even added a hot dog stop, fish and chips stand, and lamb stew and cake to keep everyone satisfied throughout the day. Jon was so easy to work with in creating our itinerary and Siggi was the perfect driver for our family with his personal stories and videos to add to what we were seeing. He dropped us off at Sky Lagoon to end day 1 relaxing and then picked us up at the ship to do another half day together the next morning.   If you are looking for a private guide I highly recommend Jon from BR Tours Beyond Reykjavik - Private Tours Iceland. He picked us up from the airport at 6 am and took us to breakfast and then to the Blue Lagoon. He then picked us up hours later and took us to our hotel. Amazing northern lights tour that night where we were only ones in the area. We did the Golden Circle the next day and he dropped us at Sky Lagoon after. Finally we did the South Coast tour. (with hidden non bus tour stops). Yes we got lucky with the weather and northern lights but Jon was a great guide and always in a good mood. We had 8 people in a very comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van that could have held more people. Pricing was reasonable for what was offered. (got quoted much higher from other guides).   This was the best trip my friends and I have ever taken. The 5 of us are in our mid 20's and we came to Iceland for a quick 3 day winter trip. We did the 3 day South Coast of Iceland Private Trip with Jon! He picked us up from the airport in an extremely comfortable VW van and was a phenomenal driver the entire trip. Jon is extremely flexible with planning your trip before arriving as well as during the tour. He knows all the best places to go to get the full experience without getting stuck in touristy spots. He made all of the accommodation bookings at phenomenal hotels. Honestly nothing could have gone better for us. There's a reason he gets such high reviews! I will be recommending him to anyone I know looking to go to Iceland!

  Our experience with Jon and BR private tour was perfect from when I first contacted Jon until he dropped us off at the airport. Jon helped us craft a personalized itinerary that made it possible for us to do everything we wanted and quite a few extras without ever feeling rushed. We got to do the Golden Circle, South coast, Black Sand beach, Glacier Lagoon & Small Ice Cave Tour, Diamond Beach, Reykanes Peninsula with the new volcanic flats and so much more. We have dietary restrictions and Jon was able to find the perfect place to stop every time. Our trip was fantastic and I highly, highly recommend booking with Jon.
