Wat Yai Chaya Mongkol
Wat Yai Chai Mong Khon is very famous throughout the world as it’s recognized as the World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1991 and it’s very important because it’s the location of 1 of the 8 great stupas of the country which is the highest stupa in Ayutthaya Island with the height of 62.10 meters.
Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan
Wat Phanan Choeng was built in 1324, about 26 years before the establishment of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. It is one of the oldest temples in Ayutthaya and has played an important role in Thai religious history. The temple is well known for its large seated Buddha image called Luang Pho Tho, which is about 19 meters high. The statue is deeply respected by both Thai and Chinese worshippers, and among the Chinese it is called “Sam Pao Kong.” According to a legend, the temple is connected to a Chinese princess named Soi Dok Mak, who died tragically before her wedding to a Siamese king. The temple was later built on the site related to her story.

A fun visit at the Ayuthaya and boat ride tour

5.00Our tour guide, Nate and driver, Mr. No. 1 came to our hotel at Grande Centre Point to pick us up for the Ayuthaya and boat tour at 9am. Nate gave us a brief history of the Thai culture during our one hour drive from Bangkok to Ayuthaya. We visited a few temples and went on a one hour boat ride around the Ayuthaya Island. Then, we had lunch at Raman Tha Luang Riverside Restaurant and Bar. Their grilled River prawns were great! Mr. No. 1 was very attentive and had prepared cold towels for us during the trip. Nate also got us ice water bottles during our walks around the temples. Overall, it was a really fun trip. We will definitely take more tours from Trip Advisor and NocNoc Travel.

5.00Our guide Angie made the tour enjoyable, informative and relaxing despite the heat. We started out with the temples and she gave us information in an engaging way, without just dumping random facts about the sites we went to. We especially appreciate how she arranged the stops which put the boat tour around the time when the sun was at its hottest. The boat tour gave us a respite from the very hot sun. It was relaxing and a beautiful way to see the temples, kings palace and trees from the river. After the boat tour, she brought us to a restaurant along the river that served scrumptious seafood! Food at the restaurant not only tasted good but they looked good too. She was a jolly companion who didn’t mind having to take photos from different phones. She happily suggested photo spots and was very patient with our inquiries and requests. We enjoyed the trip and didn’t feel as tired even if it was a very hot day.

5.00This private tour is amazing. The temples are so beautiful! Our guide was knowledgeable and great, and knew how to maneuver through the stops and sites. Be sure to ask for guide Som and driver Mr One. They are great! Highly recommend the private tour for 1:1 and pleasant day trip.

5.00Today we had another wonderful private tour – this time to Ayutthaya – and once again it was absolutely perfect! After already spending an amazing day with Som yesterday, we were so happy to have her as our guide again. Everything worked out beautifully with our small dog, exactly as Nok had carefully planned in advance after checking with the temples. We truly appreciate how much effort was put into making this possible for us. Som shared so much knowledge about Thailand’s history, the temples, and Buddhism. It was incredibly informative and fascinating. She explained everything with such passion and clarity – we learned so much throughout the day. She also took beautiful photos of us and was so kind and loving with our dog. She even helped take care of him, which meant a lot to us. You can really feel how much she cares about her guests. Even our driver made sure we were comfortable at all times – we always had ice-cold water and even refreshing cold towels for us and our dog. Such thoughtful service! We can warmly recommend this agency and especially our tour guide Som. If you are traveling with a dog and want a relaxed, private, and perfectly organized experience, you are absolutely in the right hands here. 5.00We traveled to many places around the world, enjoyed different local cultures, history snd local food. I usually did not use the same company more than once on the same trip. Nok proved through the two tours we had that her company is all about customer service and satisfaction. Communications was clear and prompt. We had Katie today who is even more attentive than the last guide. She gave us very good tour that strikes a good balance of culture, history and food. She even bought us local treats at the end of the tour! We were lucky to have the sane driver and the van as well, who was courteous and kept the van clean and cool. Highly recommend Nok’s company.

5.00Me and my wife loved the tour. It was very well organized and comfortable, with plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy. Our guide Katie was very nice, knowledgeable, and generous. She made sure we felt comfortable during the entire day, shared a lot of interesting facts, always made good suggestions, and took great pictures. Very recommended!

5.00Our tour guide, Angie, is fabulous. Very knowledgeable and she has wonderful energy about her. The trip was very well organized and comfortable. The driver, Peter, was helpful to my husband who has some mobility issues. We saw a lot, had great photo ops, and great lunch and a lot of fun. We highly recommend this trip to anyone.

5.00We booked our trip for 5 people with NocNoc Travel before we traveled to Bangkok. Poppy contacted me the day before our trip to Ayutthaya to assure me that she would be there. She was on time the day of the tour. She gave us the tour we were expecting with a boat ride and more! She took us to places that were undiscovered, took us to a fantastic restaurant, took us to an elephant ride, and all that was more than we paid for. The tour lasted all day and was the highlight of our trip. Poppy was the best! Make sure you ask for her when you travel.
